Oh happy day~!XD

  • Apr. 18th, 2007 at 1:30 AM
relax
Well, today was just another boring/pressuring day at work, trouble on the home front etc, and then I get home and see everyone posting about how the AAA DVD is coming out!!XDD Oh, I'm so excited, I hope it comes out on Yesasia soon>_< This whole time I'd practically given up hope that they'd release it, I mean, going from the One fiasco...I really wanted it, but I didn't want to set myself up to feel really sad when we didn't get one, so this is the best possible surprise<3 Finally, I can have Jun's [Tell me what you wanna be] in good quality, right up close~!!X3 I want it now;P And the [Right Back to You] performance, and the other concerts with little to no fancamera coverage, it feels like I must have another birthday coming upXD Plus, tonight is the first episode of Bambi~no:3 Although, it probably won't be up for download until just after I've gone to bed at this rate...^^; Still, what an awesome way to end the night^^ To celebrate, a post of my own;P
First, the MMA Jouka Machi with Aiba and Ohno in Akasaka:)

[Announcer: With an old map in hand they are walking the streets of today's Tokyo. There they will find unmapped
legends and armed soldiers! Arashi's Edo Life Exploration! (writing) This is a map from when Tokyo was still called
Edo. The plot of land called Shibuya village before long changed into a young people's hotspot. From this spot
that used to be the ocean, a new city was born. In the end, can people of this era use a map from old Edo to
walk around today's Tokyo? (writing) The one they'll be strolling through today is currently, as in the past, a
commuter town, Akasaka. Arashi's Aiba and Ohno are taking stock of things. What they're aiming for right now is
the Hie Sannou Greater Consciousness Shrine. (writing) Arashi's opponents are this pair. writing: Tsukaji Muga,
Suzuki Taku, 'Drunk Dragon'.]
Muga: The Hie Sannou Greater Consciousness Shrine.
Taku: Well you know...we should look for some clues.
Muga: Oh, there's writing here.
[writing: Akasaka 5th district, number 3.]
Taku: Look here. It looks like it's been here for a long time. Hi- I can't read it.
Muga: Hieda?
Taku: Hie- I dunno, Hieda Shrine.
[Announcer: No no, that's read 'Hie Shrine'. (writing) In actuality the Hie Shrine is the same as the Greater
Consciousness Shrine on the old map, but will both members of Drunk Dragon realize it?]
Woman: Greater Consciousness? (writing)
Muga: Yes, we're going to a place called the Hie Sannou Greater Consciousness Shrine, that we know so the path to
get-
Woman: This map is extremely old... (writing)
Muga: You know that as soon as you laid eyes on it.
Woman: Um, yes yes.
Muga: That's right.
Taku: Right now-
Woman: If it's Sannou, it's right around this corner.
Muga: Ohh, close!
Woman: This road runs into it ne, Sotobori Avenue. That area over there is Sannou. (writing)
1:47
{The announcer says that she's right, what's now called Sotobori Avenue was once a domestic use water reservoir
called Tameike. (writing) They used a ferryboat to get to Hie Shrine. Tameike was filled up and turned into the
current Sotobori avenue, but realizing that is probably a little difficult. But if they don't manage to get there
the program can't move along^^;}
2:12
Ohno: But, it says Sannou on there.
Aiba: Sannou means that-
Ohno: Oh oh oh!
[ANnouncer: A near-miss right in front of the goal.]
Muga: Which means that where we are right now-
Kenji: Ah, here they come. It's here, here!
[writing: 30min since starting]
Aiba: Yes, hey!
Kenji: It's here!
Aiba: Sorry to keep you waiting!
Muga: Hey wait!
Kenji: Yes~, good job.
Taku: You did it ne.
Kenji: Good job.
Taku: Really. Good job.
Guya: Yeah, you've arrived ne~.
Taku: Please take a look at this, he's tired out.
Aiba: He's tired;P
[writing: Tsukaji Muga, 35 years old]
Taku: Because we just tried to spontaneously get over here he can't climb the stairs at all.
Kenji: Tsukaji-san.
[writing: Kawabata Kenji, (Fuji TV Announcer)]
Kenji: This was it ne, right here.
2:57
{The announcer says that what is currently Hie Shrine was called the Hie Sannou Greater Consciousness Shrine in
the past, and was the local Shinto deity for all of Edo. Furthermore, it was built due to it being the patron
god for the Tokugawa clan. With it's current name Hie Shrine, it is familiar to a large variety of people. Kenji says
that now everyone is assembled they can finally move along, Arashi's Edo era exploration's second episode is here
in Akasaka! The announcer says that Akasaka was the domain of famous Magistrate Oookaechizen and renegade Shogun
Tokugawa Yoshimine, as well as the central figure in the Meiji Restoration, Katsu Kaishuu; theses three great
personages began in this town. Next is a view of Akasaka from Hie Shrine in the middle of the Meji era. By walking
in the footsteps of these great men for 30 minutes, you too can become a fantastic authority on Akasaka. So, on
to old Akasaka. Next, Kenji says that for Akasaka they've invited this person, who is a natural-born Akasakan,
Fujita Kaho-san.}
3:58
Kenji: Please come forward.
Kaho: Good morning.
All: Good morning~.
Taku: You're pretty again today ne, Fujita-san. (writing)
Kaho: Oh my, 'again today', I'v eonly met you today!;P
Muga/Taku: As you would expect ne.
4:09
{The announcer says that when looking from Akasaka towards Shinjuku and Yotsuya there is a hill midway along the
thoroughfare. This is the place where the place name Akasaka originated from. This hill, currently called Kinoukunizaka,
was the hill path to climb a mountain that was in this vicinity called Akane mountain. So, 'Akane mountain climbing
path hill (saka)', became shortened to 'Akasaka'. Akasaka is still a land where there are a lot of hills even now.
This time as well the Arashi team and Drunk Dragon team are going to use the old map to reach their destinations.
Furthermore, the team that answers the questions related to those locations correctly and gets the most points
will get a reward in return. Which is...}
4:59
Kenji: At a high-class restaurant in Akasaka, Sotomatsu-san, a full course dinner that's 45000yen for one person,
90000yen for two! (writing)
All: Ehhhh??!
Aiba/Muga: 90000??
Taku: I definitely want that!
Kenji: Well then, you've got your maps ne?
Aiba: Yes, we've got them.
Kenji: All right, then the one you will be heading to first is the very one from the TV period drama, Oookaechizennokami's
mansion. (writing) Well then, everybody, let's hasten to reach Oookaehizennokami's mansion! (writing) Go~!
Taku: Look at what Kawabata-san's doing! Kawabata-san's-
Muga: That's unusual, to see something like that;P
[Announcer: Arashi's Edo life exploration! They're aiming for the mansion of Oookaechizennokami, the very one from
the TV period drama! (writing)]
Aiba: This, let's go with this area. So where was the destination?
Ohno: This, it's really close. Alright, let's go.
Aiba: Ah, it's above. It's above, it's above. This could work huh.
5:56
{The announcer says the place the two are walking along, the slop rising up towards Yotsuya from Kinoukunizaka,
is where the attempted assassination of Iwakura Tomomi took place in Meiji 7, 1874. They pass through here and...}
6:10
Aiba: Captain~.
Ohno: Hm?
Aiba: On that stoplight over there it says Shinjuku ward. (writing) Aren't we way off course?
Ohno: Don't worry about it.
[Announcer: Certainly, leaving Minato ward where Akasaka is they've come to Shujuku ward. Is this really okay?]
Aiba: That's right ne, when I put my faith in you...
Ohno: Probably ne, when I think it's this way then it's better to go the opposite way ! (writing)
Aiba: That's right! That's right, that's right.
Ohno: I probably won't get the right spot.
[Announcer: In the end they backtrack. Meanwhile, Drunk Dragon were searching for something at the approach to
Akasaka.]
Muga: This doesn't even have route 246. (writing)
Taku: That's right. There's a map. That has 246...
Muga: Which means that this area-
Taku: This pretty much fits into the map!
Muga: Ah, it fits in.
Taku: Oh, gross!
Muga: Amazing!
Taku: This is amazing huh. This road here is just going like that.
Muga: It's the same in the end!
Taku: Amazing!
[Announcer: Amamzingly they catch sight of a street that hasn't changed since the Edo era. By following the current
route 246 they won't fail to reach Oookaechizennokami's mansion. Profitting from this big hint Drunk Dragon immediately
plow on towards Oookaechizen's mansion.]
Kenji: Ohhh, ohh, they've passed by, they've passed by. So, what will happen?
[Announcer: Drunk Dragon has set the Akasaka elementary school number 5 as the original location of Oookaechizennomaki's
mansion. In the end...]
Taku: Oookaechizennokami's home was...right here!! (writing)
Kenji: The Drunk Dragon team starts with one win!
All: Ah, here they come, here they come.
[Announcer: Delayed by 10min, the Arashi team's long-awaited arrival.]
8:09
{The announcer says this is the spot where famous magistrate Oookaechizen's villa was. The work of a magistrate
was so exhausting as to cause death from overwork apparently. Perhaps this is where Oookaechizen took some time
to rest. Although he handled many issues, he was famous as a magistrate for being the commander of the Fire and
Disaster Management Agency, which still exists today. The one who motivated the townspeople to form a general watch
group called the [Iroha 47 group] and sound the alarm in the city's many fires was also Oookaechizen. The Akasaka
jurisdiction was patrolled by the [Magumi], and the famous [Megumi] patrolled the Shiba area. And on a side note,
the route 246 which is used by many cars these days was originally this road here. It's entrance, Ushinakizaka
has a slightly unique origin.}
9:09
Kenji: This was an extremely tough hill ne.
Kaho: Yes. It's said that the farmers who passed through here were in carts pulled by cattle, and due to the loud
cries of the cattle... (writing) it became known as ushinaki zaka (literally crying cattle hill).
Ohno: So it used to be steeper?
Kaho: Yeah, in the past the roadds were really bad, and the cattle climbing this hill pulling the carts were suffering
so much that they mooed loudly, and they called it ushinaki zaka.
Aiba: It's called Ushinaki zaka?
Kenji: Well then, one step closer to the exciting gourmet food. We're moving along to the quiz now.
All: Now is when it starts, this is it!
Kenji: This is the question: on his course to career advancement Oookaechizen was struck with malicious gossip,
exactly what was said? (writing)
Muga: Spoiled brat!
Kenji: Wrong, but that means he has a small spirit right? Yes, it's not his spirit, something else is small. What's
small? What's small?
Ohno: His voice.
Kenji: Correct!
Muga/Taku: Ehh? That's it.
Taku: Small.
Kenji: That's unexpected ne, for example, if there's criminals all around this great person, if he as a small voice
what can he do?
[writing: Such a vicious remark that there were even times people resigned because of it]
Muga: I see ne.
Taku: Certainly.
Kenji: Well, let's move along to the next spot.
Aiba: Amazing, that's low class.
Kenji: The very person played by Matsudaira Ken-san in the TV period drama, renegade Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimine's
parental home. So, let's hurry along to Yoshimine's parental home! (writing) Go~!
[Announcer: Arashi's Edo life exploration! Next they're aiming for the renegade Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimine's parental
home, Kii Tokugawa house. (writing) Both Arashi and Drunk Dragon have come to the vicinity of the Akasaka overlook.]
Aiba: Amazing. We're going to the Kii house. Am I really going to be able to find it?
Muga: Ah, Kioimachi avenue.
Taku: Ah, you;re right! It's still here.
11:13
{The announcer says the path the pair are walking now, Kioichou Avenue, is the place where Ookubo Toshimichi was
assassinated May 14th, 1878. Riding in a carriage he was quickly making his way to Akasaka's Imperial Palace.
He had worked together with Saigou Takamori, Sakamoto Ryuuma and kido Kouin, who leant their assistance to the
Meiji Restoration, At the time he was attacked it's said that he was reading the letter of a friend who had died
a year earlier. Kioi hill, which intersects with Kioichou Avenue, has a slightly unusual name origin. In the Edo
era there were mansions of feudal lords encircling the hill. Those were the Kii Tokugawa house, the Owari Tokugawa
house, and the Iikanimori Tokugawa house residences. By taking the first character of each of those names, it
became Ki-o-i hill. So, which one of them will reach the Kii Tokugawa house?}
12:23
Muga: This is Tokugawa Yoshimine's place right?
Woman: That's right! That's right! That's right! (writing)
Muga: Eh? That's right? Is that right?
Taku: Excuse me, miss!
Muga: We found it, we found it!
Taku: We found it! Then-
Muga: We did it!
[Announcer: Drunk Dragon has designated the New Ootani Hotel as the Kii Tokugawa house. (writing) In the end...]
Muga: Alright!
Taku: This is-
Muga: You really helped us out!
Taku: -the place where Yoshimine roared~!
[writing: Have they found the Kii Tokugawa house? Announcer: If you're wrong you'llg et a big punishment!]
Muga: That means we're wrong ne?
Taku: We're wrong!
Muga: Hey, where'd you go granny?! You lied to us! (writing)
[Announcer: And...]
Ohno: Ah! They've been here before us! Drunk Dragon's here!
Aiba: That's Drunk Dragon!
[Announcer: Surrounded by the New Ootani Hotel and the Akasaka Prince Hotel, both teams have crashed into Shimizudani
Park.]
Muga: He said 'Kii' right?
Aiba: He did.
Muga: Then this-
Aiba: Then- ket;s do it!
Taku: Good, good, do it. Just let them try to do it, cause they're definitely wrong. (writing) Definitely-
Muga: It says Kii on there!
AIba: It says Kii!
Taku: It's not here!
Aiba: Well we're going to go ahead an do it already, this is the place where the Kii house was.
Kenji: Yes, magnificent~!
Muga: Are you a moron??! Hey Kawabata-san!
Kenji: Yes?
Muga: Honestly, please let me do it alone! (writing)
13:51
{The announcer reiterates that this is the Kii Wakayama-han Tokugawa house mansion of renegade Shogun Tokugawa
Yoshimine. Here, where the Akasaka Prince hotel and Shimizudani park fit snugly inside, was one of the successors
residences, the Kii Tokugawa mansion. Although Tokugawa Yoshimine was only called a renegade Shogun within the
confines of tv drama, but in actuality, at 180cm he was quite stirring. Furthermore, he was a Shogun with quite
a lot of curiosity, which led him to allow foreign articles into the country. In 1729 he had elephants brought in
from Vietnam, surprising a lot of Edoites.}
14:34
Kenji: Since the gourmet food depends on it, let's move along to the main theme of the quiz. Yoshimine was proactive
about bringing foreign items into the country.
Ohno: Yes.
Kenji: He had made a certain food item that was a first in Japan.
Taku: He had a food item made?
Kenji: Yes. What exactly could that food item be? So, Tsukaji-san.
Muga: Curry-rice!
Kenji: I think they out in in curry-rice...I like melting this and eating it ne~.
Aiba: Melt it??
Kenji: Yes Aiba-kun.
Aiba: Cheese!
Kenji: Yes, correct!
Aiba: I did it!
Muga: Damnit~! They got it.
Taku: They got it~.
15:13
{The annoucner says that although it's far off from his image as a renegade Shogun, Yoshimine was the first to
have cheese made in Japan.}
15:20
Kenji: The next one you're heading to is the Katsu Kaishuu mansion. (writing)
Muga: katsu Kaishuu's?
Aiba: Katsu- eh!
Kenji: Well then, let's move quickly! (writing)
Taku: Oh, here it is!
Kenji: Go~!
[Announcer: Arashi's Edo life exploration. Next they're aiming for the house of Katsu Kaishuu, who was the one
who realized the bloodless capitulation. By the way, on the map it's written Katsu intarou.]
Aiba: We've struggled on this far.
Ohno: Yeah.
Aiba: Yagen Hill.
Ohno: Like the one we heard earlier ne.
15:55
{The announcer explains that it was named because the sunken-in topography resembled the device used to crush
medicine. And teh Arashi team is aiming to reach their destination by following this hill; on the way they'll descend
Sanpun hill, covered in temples, and beyond that head for Katsu Rintarou's mansion. Apparently the temple beside
it is the same as in the Edo period, but will they realize it?}
16:23
Aiba: We've come quite a ways. Ah, this is Doukyou Temple.
Ohno: Doukyou Temple.
Aiba: Ah this-
Ohno: Doukyou Temple is right here. (writing)
Aiba: It is? Ah, you're right!
Ohno: Right, isn't that great?
Aiba: Great!
Ohno/Aiba: We've come the right way!
Aiba: This has a good feel to it!
[Announcer: Furthermore...]
Aiba: Oh!
Ohno: What's this?
Aiba: Captain.
Ohno: What does it say?
Aiba: Senfuku Temple. Senfuku Temple.
Ohno: Ah, this one.
Aiba: Ah, there it is~!
Ohno: So we should go more this way.
Aiba: Ah, there it is, there it is!
[Announcer: Meanwhile, Drunk Dragon was aiming for the Katsu Kaishuu house with a different route.]
Taku: This is Hikawa Shrine?
Muga: This is Hikawa Shrine, no doubt.
Taku: Is it okay to go in?
Muga: It's fine, it's a shrine, you can go in.
17:06
{The announcer says that since this was eight generation Shogun Tokugawa Yoshimine's birthplace's guardian deity,
it was built in 1730 on this spot. Because of the beautiful ceiling in the main temple, made with high quality
articles and magnificently embodying the beauty of nature, it's been designated one of Tokyo's priceless structures.}
17:29
Aiba: Ah!
Ohno: Is there a temple?
Aiba: It's the Hikawa of Hikawa Shrine. This is Hikawa place, Hikawa place...
Ohno: This is where we're going ne, Katsu.
Aiba: That's right.
Ohno: Then...this here? Ah!
Aiba: Eh?
Ohno: Katsu something-or-other. Katsu Kaishuu? Yeah, it's right here!
Aiba: Katsu Rintarou-san's house is...currently in this spot. (writing)
Kenji: Magnificent~!
18:03
{The annoucner explains that Akasaka's beloved lucky adventurer Katsu Kaishuu once lived here, and that although Sakamoto Ryuuma
came to kill him, Katsu actually turned him into a disciple, and has many other big tales to his name.}
18:20
Kenji: So, well then let's finally move along to the matter at hand.
Aiba: Alright!
Kenji: We're moving along to the quiz, but please wait a minute. Currently it's 4 points to one.
Drunk Dragon: Yes.
Kenji: Therefore, this time I will give a hint only to this side. If you answer, without having a hint, you'll
get 4 points.
Aiba: Hey wait a minute!
Muga: Alright!
Aiba: 4 points??
[Announcer: It seems that the Arashi team doesn't comprehend it, but the last one is a special point-reversal
quiz! (writing)]
Kenji: Receiving an injury at the age of 76, Katsu Kaishuu-san-
Aiba: Ah, Katsu Kaishuu-san ne.
Kenji: - was on his deathbed when he said some very Katsu Kaishuu-ish words? That he chose. So I'll let you listen
to this.
Muga: Ah, this is bad!
[writing: Hint for Arashi only, [With this OOOO]]
Taku: Wait a sec...
Muga: Katsu Kaishuu-ish words...
Aiba: With this? With this...it's the end.
Kenji: Ohh, with that it was so easy!
Muga: Yeah, with this...
Aiba: With this we're going to lose!
Muga: With this I"m done for.
Kenji: Correct!
Muga: We did it~!
[writing: Drunk Dragon's win, they get the 90000yen fugu full course meal.]
Muga: We did it!
Taku: Alright!
19:39
{Winners Drunk Dragon will receive their reward from the high-class Akasaka restaurant Sotomatsu. It's a restaurant
that's said to have super famous people visit in secret. Once stepping inside, there waiting for them is the fugu
main course, with an unbelievable value of 90000yen (900$CAD). And apparently, jsut by looking at it the announcer
feels like she's about to drool...;P Taku and Muga wonder what the big plate she's bringing has on it, and are impressed
at the presentation; the annoucner explains that it's been cut as thin as two sheets of paper for a slight response
against the teeth, extremely luxurious. Kenji says that in the past Hiroshima Takasa was known for just scooping
it up and gobbling it down, and both the guys think that's a great idea, so one goes from one side and the othe
from the opposite,m while Aiba worries aloud that it's disappearing;P Muga says it's extremely tender, and that
although it repsonds to the teeth a little it immediately melts, the taste is unbelievable.}
21:06
Ohno: This is our show ne? (writing)
Aiba: Mm, yeah ne.
Kenji: is it okay if I just try a little of the soup?
Drunk Dragon: Oh, go ahead, please eat some.
Kenji: I might get yelled at~. (writing) Is it okay if I have some?
Muga: There's a lot of it, we'd even have a problem.
Aiba: Kawabata-san's image has fallen incredibly. (writing)
Ohno: I feel like I might start to hate him. (writing)
Kenji: I give in to this. (writing)
Muga: It's close to heavenly right?
Ohno: I'm so irritated.
Taku: This is overpowering.
Muga: Yeah, it's delicious huh~.
Ohno: Why did we lose ne...
Aiba: I get the feeling Kawabata-san set us up at the end there. (writing)
Kenji: Wrong;P
[Announcer: These are the places they visited today in Akasaka. Everyone, when you're in Akasaka try thinking
about the Edo era.]
Aiba/Ohno: Yes, which means that we went to Akasaka as part of the Arashi Edo life exploration!
Sho: You sure said a lot;P
Aiba: It's Akasaka, this is the old map of Akasaka.
Sho: There's a lot of hills isn't there? (writing)
Ohno: A lot.
Aiba: A lot of hills. Just in Akasaka ne. But ne, when looking, when using this map to search for the destination
there's a certain skill.
Sho: Mm, oh.
Aiba: Well, since Sakurai-kun is saying that, I think he knows. We also know.
Jun: Isn't that it? It's better to look for the temples right? (writing)
Nino: Mm, that's all there is, things like shrines and such.
[writing: Bull's eye]
Aiba: Your're wrong. (writing)
Jun: I'm wrong?
Aiba: That's right, you're very correct. These red things here are temples and such, and those temples are still
there ne.
Jun: So, -eh? So you're able to properly follow along them?
Aiba: That's right, that's right, once you find one you're into the extended game ne. Big Fever. (writing) It's guaranteed.
Completely guaranteed. (writing)

Ohhh, they were so close this time!!>_< I wanted them to win...:S And Ohno just seemed to be off in his own world for the first part, and then so bitter at the endXDD Poor Aiba, he had to run the whole show practically;P And I'm not 100% sure but I think the fish they were eating might have been the legendary Fugu, the poisonous blowfish that has to be cut just right or you die a quick painful death^^; Too scary for meXD And then Aiba wanted to be all smart and tell the other members how to do it and Jun and Nino figured it out on there own, he must have been so frustrated;P I want to see Jun and Nino team up, they'd win for sure! Someone has to break the string of losses^^; Well, they may already have, I haven't seen the next episode yetXDD

Only one article today, but I picked it for the gorgeous photoshoot and implied content:3

I say implied content because the top says 'love love file 5' and from the photoshoot it seemed a romantic-type interview...well, I was wrongXD But there's one line towards the end that struck me like a lightning bolt and made me feel anew how special he is...I wonder if you can guess which it is:3 Credit to Mori's pdbox for the scans!:)*falls into heart-aching daze~*X3

Right now he's capturing our hearts at their most extreme, a direct interview with male Matsumoto Jun!
Surpassing his framing as an actor, singer, talent, we are spurred on by his allure<3

'Just desperately handling the things in front of me. I myself am still a "Bambi~no".'

The drama [Hana yori Dango 2(returns)] is over, and now I'm focussing on April's [Bambi~no!].
[Shougo], who I'm playing, is a strong boy aiming to become a first-class chef. He has faith in his cooking skills
and leaves Hakata to go to Tokyo, but in reality there are a lot of things in the world that he hasn't grasped
yet. A veritable [Bambi~no] (meaning baby or neophyte). It's a story about the bitterness that kind of boy feels,
his moving forward while suffering and struggling. At about this time of year everyone has the [Let's go into
society and bring it to bloom] kind of fighting sprit ne. But once they try making a foray into society it's
like [Huh? I'm not of any use at all]. I myself am also still a [Bambi~no]. I'm rescued by the staff and the
people playing opposite me on a daily basis. Therefore, above and beyond playing the role of Shougo, it would make
me happy if people watching could feel a sense of affinity and think about doing their best as well, I myself
also think that I want to go forward doing my best.
If there is an original I read it without fail, I pick up the details of the role from the feelings and impressions
I get from reading the script. That's my character creation. But roles are something created not just by me, but by
a blending with the opinions of the director and script-writer. In exchange for there not being anything you
can say is definitely wrong, there is also nothing you can say is correct. Therefore, I can say it's both hard
and fun.
Since this time the setting is an Italian restaurant there are a lot of cooking scenes ne. Even at home I sometimes
make things. Though at the level where it's so that I can eat, or say [I'll make something] when a friend's over.
But I don't normally cook so beyond acting I can't make anything. Especially with housewives who cook everyday,
I'd definitely be found out (laughs). For the sake of this drama I'm learning from the very basics. Even my own methods
have good self-taught parts. If you were to take dicing as one example, the pros have a different way. What I learned
recently was [Amatori Charna]. You cut up an onion, cut up some boned pokr ribs and fry them, in the meantime
you boil some pasta, once it's boiled you stir in tomato sauce, add ingredients of choice and top with cheese.
I practice at home.

In April the movie [Kiiroi Namida] that Arashi shot with all five of us together for the first time in ages will
be released. The setting is the year 1963, right in the middle of the rapid economic growth period, nearby the
forward-looking progressors of the time it tells the story of some awkward youths concerning themselves with the
things that they want to do. My role is a youth who works in a rice shop.
After that we have the Dome concerts with the five of us. It's the first Arashi solo Dome concerts! Although I
always thought about wanting to do it, I didn't think it would be this kind of timing. After all, the Dome is
special ne. I like thinking about the performances, so right now I'm thinking about various things, we're at the
stage of having meetings and making preparations.
For the January concerts a lot of parents with kids came as guests. I suppose Arashi's fanbase is expanding? I'd
be more than happy if that was the case. Although I often get told [You're popular with older women ne], I have
absolutely no idea what it is they like about me. I think that accumulating years is something wonderful. Because
that alone means that you have had lots of different experiences. If for those kind of women I happen to be something
that pulls them in, then that makes me happy. But, since I as myself am only doing my best to handle the things
in front of me that need to be done, for people who were born before me to have a high opinion of that is kind
of a curious feeling ne. Since I think that opening this page means that you have a connection to me somehow,
please give me your favor from now on as well.
Since the beginning of the year I've been doing concerts with Arashi while working alone on the dramas, they're
letting me work with an incredibly good balance. Although being this busy means that I pretty much can't take
any time for my private life I think this might just be that kind of period, I'm properly seeing through the
things in front of me one by one, I want to go forward grasping something I can feel. But no matter how busy
I am human emotions alone are something I won't forget. That alone is something I treat preciously.

His thoughts move across the page as slow-moving clouds in a sunset-painted sky<3 It starts so innocuously too...talking about Bambino, his cooking skills...btw, if anyone can find a better description of Amatori Charna that would be great, Google didn't help much^^; I thought it was interesting how he described himself as still being a fledgling, doing all he can with what he has at hand...he seems to have such a large measure of control for the most part, if he didn't say something like that no one would ever know that he still feels this sense of struggle. And he mentioned older women again (he knows his audience well it seemsXD) But it was when he talked about having a connection due to the fact that you are reading that page, it felt like the red thread of fate snapped taut and the distance was reduced to the mere inches between the page and my eyesX3 Amazing how a few words can hook me so well<3

Have a great week everybody, hope there's Bambino to watch soon, enjoy the good news!!:D^^free web stats

IT'S NOT FAIR!!!! How come they give 4 points thereeee.. It's not fairrrr

Ahahaha sorry for the sudden comment. Just finished subbing it ^^;;;

I like the first one better (aiba/sho), but this one also okay. It's funny when the drunk dragon got shot, I can hear random obachan at the back said "kawaii so yo" XDDDD It's their fault for trusting random obaachan who just want to shake their hands XD Ohno looks like a kid when he found Katsu Kaishuu house LOL, happily jumping like that XD

Btw, how come Kenji always succeed to show up from nowhere whenever they come. If they didn't show him waiting in the car, I might imagined him hiding in the bushes of neighbours' garden or something XD

And you're right about Aiba. He sounds so disappointed that nino and jun able to answer the jinja/otera clues thing XD He said "Daisekai desu" with incredibly low tension XDDDD

And nyanchan, I can't wait to time the next MMA!! It's where Sho and Aiba wears the same underwear XDDDD Ohhh... the love between them just melts me off <3333

But ne... I see someone else subbing your translations. I feel kinda down. Not because I don't want her/him to sub or anything, but you know that I hate it if I subbed something that has another sub. Especially with the same translations! O_o It seriously takes me ages to time one, if I've known that it would be subbed by somebody else I would just take more time to sleep. Gosh.. I don't know what I'm saying. Sorry, nyanchan.

Totally, that's not fair at all!XDD Arashi did all the hard work, they should win;P
Thanks for subbing it^^ I actually liked this one better cause it seemed like they actually might win...but no;P Yeah, you can't trust the passersby, most of them probably get lost a lot tooXDD It's funny how happy Ohno was then, when he was so apathetic the rest of the episodeO_o
It was kinda weird the way he was always johnny-on-the-spot when they showed up, I can actually see him hiding in people's gardens or phoneboothsXDD
Poor Aiba, he wants to be smarter than everyone else for onceXDD Kawaisou~;P
Hehe, it's coming soon, don't worry:3
Hai, I noticed that too...and one you already didO_o In fact, I saw it in the community, and then they came and asked me if it was okay...but it's already done, it seems kind of dumb^^; I completely understand how you feel, I hate it when someone else does something before me, or does it after me as if mine wasn't good enough...>_< I'm sorry that happened, hopefully it was only a one-time thing:S

Jun in your icon = ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥ ♥

Yes yes yes. I was actually feel both pity and amused when I saw them lying in the road after drunk dragon answered the last question. I was kinda disappointed though, because this time arashi didn't got shot XDDDD Less amusing scenes. :p

Please don't say sorry, nyanchan dear. It's not your fault at all. I think it's not a one-time thing at all. it seems that she will do the others, but randomly. Honestly I've thought : "if she does it, then I don't have to". But really, reading the comments in my previous sub post, I feel like continuing subbing. I love your translations, and those people appreciate what I'm doing although somebody "redo" the subbing. I think it's enough to fulfill the reason of continuing subbing MMA ;)

Oh it's almost May. Much TV shows to look forward to ne! ;)

Oh same underwear of Sho x Aiba~ They are too cute *dies*

Hehe, sou ne~<3 He's my badboyXDD
Yeah, I wanted to see Ohno get shot...I was guessing he'd just stand there and look like he had no idea what was going onXDD And Aiba, if he'd got shot again...I'd lvoe to see his exasperated expression again;P *evil grin*
I know it's not my fault...but I jsut know how much it can suck...^^; She was also posting my translations in other forums without asking first, just like this, I cna't really do anything but it seems backwards^^; I think that people love your work, and that they look forward to seeing it every week because you are consistent and kind^^ If you are happy to keep going we will all support you, we have to learn not to let it bother us so much when someone else 'poaches' on our 'domain' neXDD
Hai, lots of fun things coming up, tanoshimi ni shimasu^^
Haha, when Aiba was like 'is it okay if we show our underwear?' I thought I'd die, like 'have I entered the twilight zone??'XDDD Too funny;P
[info]yuckie_chan wrote:

LOL to "have I entered the twilight zone!!!!" XDDDDD I seriously felt like my uppernose was a bit hot, like blood is going to spill down anytime if *something* happens XD

That exasperated expression of Aiba was PRICELESS!!! <333 Ohno would be spaced out ne XDDD I haven't seen the full episode of the MMA where Sho and Ohno wins, so I dunno whether they got shot or not. :D

Ehhhhh??? She posted your translations??? OMG there are always people like that!!! Rawrrrrr T.T My friend who's the owner of Aibakaland forum once experienced that kind of thing too. For the lyrics section of that forum, she typed all the original kanji lyrics from the single covers, and then romanized it. Then some kind translators in the forum translated the lyrics. I think there were more than 30 of them. But then, this one person, copied more than 20 of them and posted them all in another forum (arashian)!!!! O_o Like, when I knew it, I visited the forum and I saw in the lyrics section, all threads were full of her last post, which contains the lyrics from Aibakaland. Some have credits, but some don't. OMG how unpolite it is. And of course, she didn't ask permission. OMG she didn't know the pain of my friend typing the kanjis and romanized them. She just copied and pasted, that was so clear!

OMG why she just not redirect people to your LJ, they can find heaven here. It's very ungrateful. They have no idea how much time and energy we dedicated for that.

But ne, as you've wrote, there are people who love these works we do, and we shouldn't be down just because of those ungrateful minor people ne. After all, we have fun doing this, Arashi is much love. Thanks to you and some of other best friends who always encouraged me, I understand this <333 Thanks ne nyanchan. Not only for the awesome translations you've done, but for always supporting me subbing your sub and be a very nice friend ;)

Haha, nosebleed territory neXD So close too...;P
Oh, you spoiled me, I had no diea they won cause I usually don't watch stuff until I translate it^^; Well,a t least I know they win eventuallyXD
Yeah, I happen to be in that forum so I was a little shcoked...I suppose as long as they credit it's not the end of the world, but I'd prefer to know about it, and even if it's just a courtesy to ask, it's still nice to have that favor done:S I'm so sorry about your friend, that really sucks>_< I hope once you mentioned it to them they credited properly, but I know it's too late to make it right...^^;
Hai, we have to keep going and find our own ways to enjoy it so that when these people do things we will be able to just let it go somehow^^ Thank you dear, I really appreciate all your kindness and support, and I'm glad that we can help each other with these things:3 Take care and don't work too hard ne!:D

and it got pretty good rating (16.6%),ne?
Hehe, it must be his new fav. I remember the episode where he smacked Ohno and Nino took the "speed-machine", but before that someone asked him if he had taken of his rings XD
[info]nyanchan wrote:
Apr. 22nd, 2007 06:48 pm (UTC)

[info]nyanchan wrote:
Apr. 23rd, 2007 03:56 am (UTC)
Well, in my opinion it's only okay...he was getting 19-20% per episode on HYD, that's more like what I want to see for him<3 16.6% is still doing well, I just hoped that he could stay at the higher levels...to compare, Shukudai-kun seems to average about 8%, and MMA seems to get about 6%, so it's still a really decent rating, but I want his star to keep rising fast!X3 Don't apologize, the Japanese system is pretty confusing, I'm still trying to figure it out myself^^;
Hmm, well it was something called 8ji from his junior days, he was supposed to smack someone as part of a comedy routine and his bracelet actually drew blood!XDD And Jun laughed so much, it was awesome;P
[info]hitomito wrote:
Apr. 23rd, 2007 08:44 pm (UTC)
Ohh, I see. I never looked at the rating for HYD, just knew many saw it ^^;;
I want Jun to keep reaching at the stars too. He has very good potential and his acting skill is so good! but lately I have noticed Yamapi (Yamashita Tomohisa) getting more attention and has a very high speed to the top.

Hahaha, just reading about the incident made me laugh. I'm so evil XP
Now I need to go searching for a clip :3
[info]nyanchan wrote:
Apr. 24th, 2007 05:26 am (UTC)
Ahh, yeah HYD got amazing ratings, it evcen topped Kimura Takuya's show for awhile, which is incredible!:D So I was hoping it would keep that high...maybe it will go up when more people see the show...^^; Yamapi gets a lot of attention all the time, and now that NEWS is back he can ride that wave into some new publicity too..but I like him so I don't mind...of course, I want Jun to rule all thoughXD
Good luck^^

Thank you for the translations! I think this is one of my favorite pictures of Jun. Everything is just perfection, down to the finger on his lips. XDD I do love reading his articles. I've gotten used to hearing his thoughts every week (thanks to you!) and it always put me in a pensive mood. Jun is so thoughtful in everything he does. He doesn't do anything that he hasn't put a lot of thought into. I guess it's in his nature, ne? <3

You're very welcome!:) I agree, it can't get much better than this, he's like a work of art...<3 That finger...he's so clever with his poses neXD His thoughts always put me in a pensive mood too, it's part of the reson why I enjoy reading them so much:3 He contemplates things deeply before he speaks or acts on them, and I love that part of him, so I always look forward to another one of his self-written pieces<3 Take care!^^
