Osokatta neO_o
Gomen to take so long to post minna, my mother is in town and between seeing her and working and Canada Day weekend I've been rushed off my feet for days^^; There's was a huge thunderstorm just now so I thought we wouldn't be able to have any fireworks but the sun has come out again^^ I hope I can still go out tonight and enjoy it, but plans get cancelled so easily...:S
Anyway, today I have the MMA from 07.04.07 with Aiba and Ohno and the baachan who got married by herselfO_o
Aiba: It's the ocean~! Look look, it's pretty isn't it.
Ohno: It's unexpectedly pretty ne. Unexpectedly pretty.
Aiba: It's not unexpected!
00:15
{the announcer says this time they're in Ibaraki-ken, Hitchinaka-shi, a place where the industry is fishing and
the main catches are horse mackerel and halibut, and today's grandpa is a halibut fisherman}
00:29
Aiba: Those in Arashi, there's a favor I'd like to ask of you. (writing) Eh? Unbelievably, it seems that our
father didn't even attend his own wedding ceremony. (writing)
00:38
{the announcer says that the request is from the daughter, who wants them to skillfully draw out the reason
behind this turn of events.}
00:48
Aiba: So that means at the wedding ceremony there was just grandma by herself... (wriiting)
Ohno: Eh?! (writing)
Aiba: So you'd have to put it (the ring) on yourself right? (writing)
[writing: Sad...]
Ohno: Uwa, that's seriously sad!
Aiba: This is seriously sad! Let's go ask what the reason behind it was! (writing)
Ohno: Yeah, let's go!
Aiba: Let's go!
Ohno: We just have to ask ne.
[Announcer: Though they want to see their grandkids, they can't. (writing) There isn't a successor for the family
business and the work is a lot of trouble (writing). The members of Arashi go get involved with those Grandmas and
Grandpas, Arashi's [Grandkid for a day] (writing).]
Aiba: This is it, this is it. Here. Though it's a mission, we have to properly be grandkids ne. Hello~!
Grandma: Ah, you're here~!
Aiba: Yes, we're here~! The grandkids are here.
Grandma: You're late ne.
Aiba: We're late, sorry ne! Really.
Grandma: Welcome, hello~, we were waiting for you.
Aiba: Hello~.
Ohno: Eh? Doesn't this seem like we're leaving? (writing)
Aiba: No no;P Today ne, the two of us came to be your grandkids.
ohno: I'm Satoshi.
Aiba: And, Masaki.
Grandma: Good men ne~. (writing)
Ohno/Aiba: Your favor please.
1:53
{the announcer says today's grandparents are Usui Masaji-san and Sadako=san. Apparently, rare for the times, they
married for love...but despite that, why was grandpa not at his own wedding ceremony? She tells them to carefully
tease it out while they're helping as grandkids.}
2:13
Aiba: Eh, grandpa and grandma, what are you doing right now, in terms of work?
Grandma: Grandpa is on the boat.
Grandpa: Right now I'm on the boat.
Aiba: A boat?
Grandma: Please help out. And then-
Grandpa: I'm doing the painting of the boat. (writing)
Aiba: Ah, painting!
[writing: Grandkid Aiba, painting the boat with Grandpa; Grandkid Ohno, lunch preparations with Grandma]
Aiba: I'll go!
Grandma: And with me you're making lunch. Ne?
Aiba: What's for lunch today?
Grandma: For lunch ne, barbeque<3 (writing)
Ohno: I don't really have to do anything? (writing)
Grandma: That's no good! You have to help! I'm not doing anything! (writing)
Ohno: I'm doign everything.
Aiba: You're doing everything.
2:45
{the announcer says that since Aiba and Grandpa are in charge of painting the boat they head to the harbour}
2:51
Grandpa: When I was 20 I went to the Indian Ocean to catch tuna. (writing)
Aiba: When you were 20?
Grandpa: Yeah, when I was 20.
Aiba: You went to the Indian Ocean?
Grandpa: That's right, that's right. We crossed the equator ne.
Aiba: Yeah!
Grandpa: And we caught a lot of them.
Aiba: You were in an organization ne?
Grandpa: When I was young, it was a good era. (writing)
3:13
{the announcer says currently grandpa fishes for halibut in a small ship, and today he's going to paint that
important companion with his grandkid.}
3:21
Aiba: Alright! Okay Grandpa, I'm going to put it on. The paint. Ah, amazing! It makes it pretty ne.
Grandpa: Don't rush, you have to do it slowly. (writing)
Aiba: Which personality do you have Grandpa? (writing)
Grandpa: I have a tempestuous personality. (writing)
Aiba: You're kidding! You don't seem tempestuous.
Grandpa: Well ne, fishing industry are all like that ne. Because we catch living fish. That's why my head has
no hair or anything anymore... (writing)
Aiba: Why are you taking your hat off?XD Why did you suddenly take your hat off?
Ohno: Grandma, what kind of personality do you think you have?
Grandma: Me? I'm cheerful<3 (writing)
[writing; Cheerful!]
Grandma: I'm cheerful aren't I?
Ohno: Cheerful?
Grandma: Yeah. Cheerful.
Ohno: And Grandpa? (writing)
Grandma: Grandpa? When he drinks he's cheerful. (writing)
Ohno: Ah, is that so?
Grandma: yeah. when he drinks he talks. It's hard when he goes out to fish. (writing)
Ohno: But, you like Grandpa right? (writing)
Grandma: By now if I didn't like him I couldn't be together with him right? So that he can eat! (writing)
Ohno: You're with Grandpa so he'll eat?
Grandma: That's right, if I wasn't here he wouldn't be able to feed himself. Let's go!
Ohno: Let's go;P
Grandma: Come here! (writing)
Ohno: Yes.
Grandma: First peel the skin of the onions. (writing)
Ohno: Yes ma'am.
[Announcer: Ohno-kun has become quite capable of cooking lately. Upon which, having seen his state of affairs
and feeling relieved, Grandma...]
Ohno: She sat down. (writing)
[writing: Relaxing...]
Ohno: You have to do it with me ne, or it's not 'Mago Mago' Arashi. (writing)
Grandma: Don't cut yourself~<3 (writing)
Ohno: You're far! (writing)
Grandma: Don't cut yourself.
Aiba: At what age did you know Grandma, Grandpa? (writing)
Grandpa" Age 25. (writing)
Aiba: You knew her at 25? It was an arranged marriage? (writing)
Grandpa: That's right! (writing)
Aiba: It was an arranged marriage?
Grandpa: It was...not an arranged marriage ne. (writing)
[writing: Which is it?!]
Aiba: eh, you lied?
Grandpa: You see, I left home. (writing)
Aiba: You left home?!
Grandpa: I was disinherited. (writing) I'm talking abotu a long time ago.
Aiba: So then that means, Grandpa you eloped? (writing)
Grandpa: Ah, well, I guess that's what they'd call it these days ne. But here ne, Grandma was running a ryokan.
(writing; country inn)
Aiba: She was running a ryokan?
Grandpa: She was running a ryokan. In the end, we had to inherit them. (writing)
Aiba: Grandma was to take over the ryokan and Grandpa was to become a fisherman.
Grandpa: That's right.
Aiba: So that's pretty difficult ne.
Grandpa: That's difficult. (writing)
6:01
{the announcer says that the ryokan's daughter and the fisherman's son, both destined to take over the family
business, marriage was already forbidden to them. But as much as it is forbidden love is something that will burn
the brighter, so the two of them finally eloped.}
6:19
Grandpa: Because everyone was telling us it was no good we were with each other more than necessary. Our hearts
were joined. (writing)
Aiba: So then, that means you were the Romeo and Juliet of the Showa era? That's what it is ne? The Showa version.
Grandpa: That's right, that's right.
Aiba: Grandpa you were (born) in the Showa era right? (writing)
Grandpa: That period ne, right now ne-
Aiba: Taisho era? Meiji? (writing)
Grandpa: No, it's SHowa. (writing)
Aiba: Showa- It's Showa ne;P
6:38
{the announcer says that it was a youthful period just like in a drama, the pair's love heating up to the boiling
point. However, currently...}
6:47
Ohno: Grandma.
Grandma: Yes?
Ohno: It's okay not to wait (for grandpa et al.)? (writing)
Grandma: Yup. (writing)
[writing: Eating first]
Grandma: We'll just leave some for them, we'll just leave some for them.
Ohno: Even though it's a barbequeue, where everyone eats together...
Grandma: It's hot. Tasty~. (writing)
Ohno: It's tasty ne.
Grandma: Tasty? Put some more (meat) on there! (writing)
[writing: they're eating in earnest!]
Ohno: How did the two of you meet? (writing)
Grandma: It was 50 years ago. You forget. (writing)
Ohno: What about your wedding ceremony? (writing)
Grandma: We had it. But we didn't take any photos. (writing) We did it.
Ohno: You didn't take any pictures? (writing)
Grandma: We didn't take any pictures.
Ohno: Why? (writing)
Grandma: The sauce is sweet ne... (writing) Maybe it made a mistake in it.
[writing: Wrapped up in the barbeque. Announcer: She's a fairly 'my pace' grandma. She's not keeping up with
Ohno-kun's conversation. However. Aiba-kun is...?]
Aiba: So Grandpa you went and eloped, and then you came back here and got married?
Grandpa: Then I, um...(on the day of the wedding ceremony) I went to Aomori to work as a deep-sea fisherman.
(writing)
[writing: He fished for pike in Aomori]
Aiba: On the day of your wedding?
Grandpa: On that day I was in Aomori.
Aiba: Ehh? So that means Grandma did the exchanging of the rings by herself?
Grandpa: There wasn't any exchanging of the rings. (writing)
Aiba: There wasn't?
Grandpa: There wasn't. It was a bride-only wedding ceremony. (writing)
Aiba: That's really sad ne, for Grandma ne.
Grandpa: Well, that part, that was really sad ne. Because that was (the kind of) era... (writing)
Aiba: Really? That's the first time that I've heard that it was 'that kind of era'. Is that so?
Ohno: Isn't that not a wedding ceremony? I mean, isn't that lonely Grandma? (writing)
Grandma: It's lonely, but that's how all of the women around herer feel. (writing)
ohno: You're kidding!
Grandma: No. From the same era as me ne.
8:43
{the announcer says that that's the way it was in the past. Saying that, grandma doesn't want to talk further
about it. And then,,,}
8:53
Grandma: Mmm, tasty. (writing)
[writing: Loves barbeque]
Ohno: Ultra tasty?
Grandma: Ultra tasty<3 Super tasty! (writing)
Aiba: We're back!
Grandma: Welcome back~!
Ohno: Welcome back.
Aiba: We did the painting.
Grandpa: We're back.
Aiba: Then let's eat.
Grandma: Let's eat.
Ohno: Let's eat Grandma.
Grandma: let's eat;P Grandpa loves barbeque.
Grandpa: That's right.
Aiba: Ne Grandma.
Grandma: Yes?
Aiba: These are already used? (writing)
Grandma: it's kind of suspicious ne. (writing)
Aiba: Suspicious ne.
[writing: We atr first<3]
Grandma: A little suspicious ne.
Aiba: It's pretty much been eaten, those onions have been on the barbeque for an awfully long time haven't they.
Grandma: What could it be ne... (writing)
Aiba: 'What could it be'??;P
[writing: The Usui household's special barbeque]
Grandma: It's already cooked, let's eat.
Ohno: We're eating?
Aiba: Cheers~. (writing)
Grandma: Cheers~. Thanks for the food.
Grandpa: Drinking with the grandkids makes it delicious. (writing)
Aiba: Delicious ne. Uwa! This meat's completely black! (writing)
Grandma: It's okay.
Aiba: It's over-cooked! (writing)
Grandpa: Hey now, you're the one that picked it out.
Grandma: It was over-cooked ne.
Aiba: It's not good meat that I'm eating!
Grandpa: People have to go a little wild! (writing)
Aiba: That's right ne.
Grandma: I guess it's too charred?
Aiba: It kind of tastes like newspaper... (writing) It was probably better not eat it...
Grandpa: Because I've said come at me with arrows or guns. For the sake of protecting my home I put my life on
the line and fought with those storms! (writing)
Grandma: Yeah, that's great~! (writing)
[writing: In good spirits!]
Ohno: That's great, that's a good feeling.
Grandpa: Not wave nor tempest shall break my protection. How doth my lover now...? (writing) In the end ne, as you
would think, that youthfulness-
Grandma: I get kind of touched when I hear that ne. (writing) 'My lover'...
[Announcer: Grandpa and Grandma have gotten into a fairly good mood. Even now they might be able to draw that
secret out. Speaking of which...]
Aiba: The grandkids want to hear that story- (writing)
Ohno: -a long time agao Grandpa and Grandma were young! (writing)
Aiba/Ohno: Lovey Dovey talk~! (writing)
[Announcer: They even went so far as to elope, so why wasn't Grandpa at their wedding ceremony? The grandkids will
finally ask.]
Aiba: So, please ask them about that.
Ohno: Why didn't grandpa attend the wedding ceremony? (writing)
Grandma: That's right, Grandpa wasn't there that time ne.
Grandpa: Because I was riding a far off ship ne. (writing)
Aiba: In Aomori ne? But ne, Grandpa ne, if he was thinking of coming home he could have come home ne! (writing)
Grandpa: To go home?
Ohno: Ah, that's right ne.
Aiba: If you were thinking of coming home you could have come home ne.
Grandpa: But ne, on the joubansen ne... (writing; main trunk of railway from northern Japan)
[writing: Joubansen?]
Aiba: Joubansen?
Grandpa: That went all teh way from Aomori to here.
Aiba: If you were able to come home on the joubansen, then you should have come home.
Ohno: Why didn't you come back?
Grandpa: Because I didn't like going home at that time... (writing)
Ohno: Even for a wedding ceremony?
Grandpa: If you were to ask me at the time why I dodn't like I wouldn't know, but one way or another I didn't
like coming home.
Grandma: Grandpa has forgotten about it.
Grandpa: What I didn't like. Our parents had it (the wedding ceremony) for the sake of vanity! (writing) They did that
for the sake of appearances.
Aiba: I see.
Grandpa: That kind of thing ne.
11:49
{the announcer says that while their relatives continued to oppose the marriage they had a wedding ceremony
restricted to formality only. Grandpa rebelled against that wedding ceremony that was completely for appearances
only.}
12:04
Grandpa: Well, at any rate there was also a situation where the two of us were considering dying together...
(writing)
Aiba: I hadn't heard about that.
Grandpa: It's a lie! (writing)
Aiba: A lie? (writing) Why is Grandpa telling lies? That was unneeded.
Ohno: He gets drunk and tells lies.
Aiba: He's drunk? Ah, is that so?
[Announcer: After this a shocking truth comes to light for grandpa (writing) Grandpa, who has zero tact, makes
a faux pas! As a rebellion against his parents grandpa didn't attend his own wedding! From him a further truth
emerges!]
Ohno: What about a wedding ring? (writing)
Grandpa: if that was the case, if there was one-
Grandma: There's no wedding ring! (writing)
[writing: There's no wedding ring either!]
Aiba: There wasn't one ne.
Grandpa: Since there wasn't a wedding ring ne, because I had those kind of (apologetic) feelings, I saved up
a lot of money.
Aiba: You gave her a present?
Grandpa: That's right. Um, at that time I bought her a diamond ring. (writing) After that I came home, it seemed
that if I'd only given her money she wouldn't have bought it. (writing) I have to properly by it myself
ne.
Grandma: After all, you have to put it in some kind of form ne. (writing) In terms of a commemoration ne.
Ohno: Grandpa gave you money?
Grandma: He gave me (not a ring but ) money! (writing)
[writing: A monetary allowance?]
Grandpa: I gave it to her as money.
Grandma: He said let's buy it.
Ohno: Wouldn't it have been better if grandpa bought it! (writing)
Grandpa: I bought it myself. (writing)
Aiba: Himself! he bought his own.
[writing: He bought it]
Grandpa: Because I think that was a failure, I think that if I were reborn I'd definitely buy it
for her. (writing)
Aiba: I see ne~. It's good to have something that you can hold in your hand ne.
Grandpa: However, that was teh me of that time ne.
Grandma: Say that facing this way! That person isn't listening! Over here! (writing)
Aiba: That's right ne. So, even if you were reborn you'd want to be together? (writing)
Grandma: I think you'd have to think that over carefully. (writing)
[Announcer: 2pm]
Grandma: We're going~!
Aiba: Take care!
Ohno: Be careful!
[Announcer: Grandpa and Grandma are going out to attend a fisherman's meeting at a nearby shrine (writing).]
Ohno: This is the first time we've been left home alone ne. (writing)
Aiba: It's the first time ne. What shdould we do? (writing)
Ohno: Sleep? (writing)
Aiba: Ne, aren't these photos amazing?
Ohno: That's right, I've kind of liked them for a while ne.
Aiba: Ne. Grandpa's hobby might be cosplay.
Ohno: You know ne, doesn't this seem like a composite picture? (writing)
Aiba: That's right! It looks like only Grandpa's face in there;P That's totally how it is!
Ohno: Grandma looks kind of unnatural here ne. It's a no-go ne.
[Announcer: After this, for the sake of grandma and grandpa the grandkids are on the move!]
Aiba: This has gotten to be a matter of public support huh!
Grandma: There's no wedding ring. After all, you have to put it in some kind of form ne. (writing) He gave me
money!
Grandpa: I gave it to her as money. I think that if I were reborn I'd definitely buy it for her. (writing)
[Announcer: They want to give some kind of present to grandma and grandpa. Thinkign that, the two of them...]
Ohno: Ah, they have plenty of wire!
Aiba: Ah, you're right!
[Announcer: Although it's kind of impossible to buy a ring, if it was something like a handmade necklace...Ohno-kun
is especially good at these kind of things ne. writing: Is there anything that can be used for materials?]
Aiba: Oh! Captain! These might get stuck in your arm though. (writing)
[writing: Lures?]
Ohno: If we were to get them to be careful...
Aiba: If we were tog et them to be careful, we could make it.
[writing: Look properly ne. (announcer)]
Ohno: Ah, this would be good wouldn't it.
[writing: Caught sight of the prize]
Aiba: This seems like it would make Grandpa happy huh. That's right, that's right, lend it to us.
Ohno: Ne.
Aiba: How is it?
Ohno: it's got kind of a pirate feel to it ne.
Aiba: That's good ne.
[Announcer: Furthermore...]
Aiba: This has become a recruitment situation huh;P
Ohno: We have two of them.
Aiba: That's great ne. Thanks! If we have this much it'll work right? Then I'll be in charge of Grandpa's...
Ohno: I'll do Grandma.
Aiba: But we have to do it fairly quickly you know...
Ohno: They'll come back.
[writing: In the middle of the fisherman's meeting]
Aiba: there's a possiblity they'll come home ne. So wouldn't this be fine the way it is? (writing)
Ohno: Certainly.
Aiba: Ne.
Ohno: Should I say that I made it?;P (writing)
[Announcer: Even while saying that, Ohno-kun's part is incredibly focussed. Meanwhile, Aiba-kun is...]
Aiba: This'll make Grandpa happy huh. This right here.
Ohno: If you left only this on it would work ne;P
[Announcer: At that moment! (writing)]
Aiba: Welcome back!
Ohno: Welcome back!
Aiba: Just a sec!
Ohno: Don't look. Don't look, make a wall.
Aiba: Welcome back.
Grandpa: Yes, we're back.
Aiba: You're early ne.
Grandpa: We came to give you souvenirs! (writing)
Aiba: You're kidding!
Ohno: Ah, this?
Aiba: What is this?
Grandma: Let's all eat the candies together! (writing)
Aiba: Ah, then shall we eat them?
Ohno: Let's eat them.
Aiba: So kind of, go into the house. We'll be right there. We'll be right there ne.
[Announcer: After this, the presents for grandma and grandpa. However... writing: Present.]
Aiba: Eh?
Grandma: That's right.
Aiba: This is grandpa?
Grandma: That's right, he had that much hair, at that time. (writing)
Grandpa: It's amazing ne, that time.
[writing: At age 25]
Aiba: Amazing ne. That's cool, that's grandpa?
Grandma: That's right, that's when he started going badl, in his 30s. (writing)
Aiba: That's when the baldness started...But ne, it's already been 50 years that you were married.
Grandma: It was full of ups and downs ne. (writing) But right now we're relieved ne. Right now we're the
happiest ne. (writing)
Aiba: Ah, is that so?
Grandma: Yeah, that's what I think. Grandpa is the same way ne?! (writing)
[writing: Coercing?]
Ohno: That's overbearing ne;P
Grandpa: In life ne, everyone has a steady stream of hardships. (writing)
Aiba: So today you were happy?
Grandma: We were happy! It was fun! Seeing the faces of young people. (writing)
Aiba: Really?
Grandma: Yeah, you really gave us a burst of courage! (writing)
Ohno: Then we're happy.
Grandma: We're happy.
Grandpa: We're happy.
Grandma: We are.
Aiba: Then ne, for just this one day today ne, we thought we'd leave something material behind. Satoshi for
grandma, Masaki for grandpa, we made presents.
Grandpa: Oh, is that so? That makes me happy.
Aiba: Really. Grandma, close your eyes. Grandpa, close your eyes.
Ohno: I'm going to put it on. There!
Grandma: Uwa~, amazing ne.
Aiba: It suits her ne.
Ohno: It suits her.
Aiba: It suits her. It suits you Grandma.
[writing: Grandma's present, an Indian necklace]
Grandma: Thank you. I'm happy, thank you very much.
Ohno: I'm glad.
Grandma: Thank you very much. I'll make it a lifelong memory. (writing)
Ohno: Really?
Aiba: Of today ne, in this form.
Grandma: Yes, thank you.
Aiba: Okay, for Grandpa from me. Close your eyes Grandpa. Isn't this cute? It's cute right.
[Announcer: For Grandpa Aiba-kun has made a world-travelling pirate-stule necklace with fishing tools and anchors.
(writing) But in this one there is a grave flaw! (writing)]
Grandma: That's right ne, it's not for me.
[writing: It seems that it was small]
Aiba: grandpa~;P
Grandpa: I wear this on my head?
Ohno: You don't, it's for here.
Grandpa: Ahh, is that so?
Grandma: Then I'll make it longer so it can go on his neck.
Aiba: I'm sorry ne Grandma.
Ohnmo: Grandpa, please use it as a crown.
Grandpa: Yeah, really....
Grandma: He's so happy waring it like that.
Grandpa: It's like I became a god.
Ohno: I'm glad;P
Aiba: I'm so glad it made you happy.
Grandma: Thank you.
Ohno: That's right, we're happy.
Grandma: Thanks.
Grandpa: AH, we got good grandkids.
Aiba: Oh, for our part as well, thank you very much.
Ohno: Thanks a lot.
Grandma: Thank you very much.
[writing: Parting]
Aiba: So thank you very much for today.
Ohno: Thanks a lot.
Grandma: Thank you very much. Having two grandkids keep us company for a day ne.
Grandpa: That was great huh.
Ohno: Grandpa, we're over here Grandpa!
Grandma: It's not over there!
[writing: Please look at the grandkids]
Grandma: Towards the grandkids, the grandkids.
Aiba: Grandpa just starts looking in random directions ne.
Grandma: That's right ne!
Grandpa: Really huh. We're really thankful for the necklaces you gave us.
Grandma: Thanks ne.
Aiba: Thanks, for us as well, thanks.
Grandma: Thank you very much.
Grandpa: You gave us this ne.
Aiba: Wear it ne.
Grandma: if you're ever in the area again come see us please.
Aiba: Yes. Thank you so very much! Bye-bye!
Grandma: Bye-bye, take care ne~!
All: Bye-bye!
Grandma: Thank you very much~.
Aiba: Bye-bye!
Grandma: Yes, thanks ne~.
Aiba: Thanks ne~.
Grandma: Yes, goodbye~.
Aiba: Goodbye. So Captain, how was it today?
Ohno: It was kind of interesting ne?
Aiba: The presents at the end really put it over ne.
Ohno: It did ne. Altough they were totally made of things they already had ne;P Wasn't it conversely better that
we didn't buy it?
Aiba: it was conversely better that we didn't buy them ne, it was interesting ne.
Grandpa: They made it very well ne. I'm very grateful for this. This is cool isn't it.
Granamd: It's cool! (writing) Cool.
Grandpa: That's right.
[Announcer: Grandpa, your grandkid necklace is fabulous]
Ohno: Yes, which means that today we were the grandkids of a fishing Grandma and Grandpa~!
Sho: Nice intro!
Aiba: Thanks! This time we gave present to Grandma and Grandpa ne? Necklaces ne. It seems that Riidaa has some
kind of thing that he brought today ne-
Ohno: That's right. Today I have presents for everyone. (writing)
Jun: What?
Ohno: Wagon come on! (writing)
[writing: Original lunchboxes from Arashi's starring film Kiiroi Namida]
Aiba: This is...this is ne, um-
Ohno: The ones from Kiiroi Namida. They're a limited edition on sale from April 3 to April 30th.
Jun: Even if you go the convenience store they sell them?
Ohno: They do.
Sho: These each appear individually in the movie right?
Aiba: They do. The curry rice Ninomiya-kun and Ohno-kun and myself, the three of us made it, this thing ne.
Nino: About how many people are we going to make a present of this one set to? (writing)
Ohno: This isn't a present for the audience! (writing)
Jun: It's not?
Nino: Eh?
Aiba: I mean just now we were introducing them to everyone...
Jun: It felt like it was a present...
Aiba: So what should the people in the audience do? (writing)
Ohno: Well, just go buy it at Family Mart ne! (writing)
[writing: In the middle of being sold for a limited time at Family Marts across the coutry!]
Nino: What is that??
Sho: That's how he resolves it!
Nino: The movie we're starring in, Kiiroi Namida, is in the middle of airing to rave reviews~!
Sho: It's currently showing at the Tokyo Globe Theatre.
Jun: From next week, April 14th, it will be at Ebisu Garden Cinema and Warner Michael Minato Mirai.
Ohno: It's set in Showa year 38, it's incredibly interesting.
Jun: The tension's gradually going down;P
Aiba: For details please check the Kiiroi Namida homepage!
[writing: The end]
Sho: Yaosu!
Jun: Yaosu?;P
Aiba: It's not Yaosu...;P
Haha, those necklaces are so cuteXDD Baachan's was really pretty, and I lvoe the jiichan's is like a crown;P A nautical crown...XD What an interesting relationship those two have, and the story of their forbidden love is something straight out of a romance novel!^^ Amazing that something like that could be real, so bittersweet:3
This week's article is Jun's June Wink-up question and answer session, with the gorgeous close-up<3<3

[Bambi~no!]'s start, that's the meeting with the people in the new drama ne. The staff and and the cast were
all pretty much people I was seeing for the first time, and since it was a feeling like a gathering of interesting
people (laughs) it's really fun. On top of which I felt like an incredibly intense group of people gathered. Kitamura
Kazuki-san...he's intense after all ne (laughs). I think I'm intense as well, but this is yet a different
intensity ne. Shimura-san is also an intense person on many different levels ne (laughs). That 3-shot is strong
ne. No matter where we are...because of that as well, even in an influential scene we're probably intense, that's
my prediction (laughs). The filming is incredibly interesting. At the stage that I'm having this conversation
I actually haven't seen the footage yet, so I'm really looking forward to how the things that were filmed will
be edited together in the end. Because in doing the cooking scenes we film an enormous amount ne. There are
fantastic actors in it, and because they're each interesting in their own way I think it'll be an amazing drama.
@ Do you have memories associated with [scent]?
There's usually cologne in my bag. This is amazing, there's a lot of scent related things. (While taking bottle
after bottle out of his bag). This is cologne. This is aroma oil. So, you coat your hands in this oil. Because
lately...I've been giving off the smell of garlic (laughs). When it comes to Italian there's garlic in it isn't
there? In my scenes there's a lot of times when my hands are near my face, and when I think 'it kind of reeks
like garlic' it's my own hands that are stinking (laughs). People hate hands that stink like garlic right? Because
if someone says [Please shake hands with me] they'd hate having the hand they shook with stink like garlic (laughs).
Therefore I'd like to remove the smell somehow...but it seems to be impossible. It's really a lot of trouble
being a chef (laughs).
@ What did you do last night?
Since it was right around April Fools Day I thought [I have to tell someone a lie!], so I called a lot of people
while I was on standby for shooting, but everyone's timing was horrible and they didn't answer (laughs). Then,
the day of the filming changed so it was over, and on my way back I got all the callbacks at once (laughs).
I kept thinking 'What should I do, once it's past midnight there's no point in telling a lie...', it couldn't
be helped so I just had conversations like normal (laughs). While doing that I returned home, got the bath ready,
while the bath was getting ready I opened a bottle of wine, then I got into the bath like that carrying the wine.
Then, after that I organized my work items...then I guess I went to bed. Ah! Other than that I looked at my
digital camera. While thinking 'how interesting~' 'so nostalgic~' (laughs). Because there's a date stamp on the
data, in chronological order you can see a [This is how it turned out 30 minutes later] type of progress ne.
Although fundamentally there are a lot of photos of drinking, in times when I was drinking with Oguri Shun
30 minutes after a photo of us getting along well there are photos of me snapping at Shun...even for me it's
interesting (laughs).
@ How is the 19th single [We Can Make It!]?
It's a song we decided on based on [Since it's been awhile we want to do a song that feels like you can dance
to it ne]. It's the first time ne, that people from another country are making the single. The chorus sticks
in your ears, I also like the feeling of expansion. The rap is a good thing too ne. Since this is something
we made with an incredible consciousness of our present Arashi group feel this time although it's [Bambi~no!]'s
theme song there's a stronger impression of the five of us of right now rather than the image of the drama ne.
[Di-li-li] ne, is kind of like in the teens...it feels like we've gone back to quite a ways earlier (laughs).
It feels good to sing it. I like the 3rd song, [Future] (recorded on the first press limited edition). When
I sing it I feel like I'm going to cry. The lyrics are great ne. When singing from the first chorus, as I reach
the 2nd chorus I get choked up ne (laughs). Although there are a lot of words packed in to it the lyrics are
extremely easy to listen to, I love it an incredible amount.
Yikes, I knew garlic smelled but I didn't know it soaked into your hands like thatO_o Poor Jun, I kind of know what that feels like from my previous stint in the fast food industry^^; I really want to know what his cologne smells like thoughX3 And see his drinking picsXDD Now that would be fun~;P I really love how he gives a little personal touch to all of the songs, I have to listen to Future again with this new perspective<3 Ahh~, the lyrics are really awesome ne~:3 I wonder what he'll say about new songs...X3
