relax
Ah, so late this week, gomen ne^^; I worked 6 days in a row, and there were a whole bunch of new people at work so it was like freaking babysitting half the timeO_o How is it that 45 year old men and women can be as clueless as toddlers for that long???>_< And I'm in for more of it tomorrow;P On the bright side, my contract got extended so I get to keep my current position (and pay sale) while I'm in Japan^^ That will help a lot for when I get back with 3 heavy bags and 2 pennies to rub togetherXD Also, I haven't been on here in 3 days, so I have a lot to catch up on...and I really, really need to be doing more of the planning for the trip already;P Gahhh...more time please!XD
Anyway, this week I have the MMA from 07.04.21, otherwise known as the 101st episode Tuna Festival!XD

[Announcer: The reality is, after the end of last week's taping, this weighty incident occurred! (writing)]
Staff: Yes! That's okay! Thanks for your hard work on the 100th episode! (writing)
Nino: Thanks for your hard work.
Jun: Thanks for your hard work.
Staff: Thanks for your hard work.
Aiba; Eh? What's that? (writing)
[writing: In reality today was the 100th broadcast]
Staff: Thanks for your hard work on the 100th episode.
Aiba: The 100th episode?
Staff: Yes.
Jun: It was the 100th episode?
Ohno: The 100th one?
Staff: Yeah, of course.
Jun: Amazing ne.
Staff: It's already been 2 years. (writing)
Sho: Well, it's not [it's already been 2 years]...like, a 100th episode commemoration...isn't there something
you film as part of the 100th episode?
Aiba: See, if you don't tell us ahead of time, even we don't know about it... Our taping finished just now,
what are we going to do about this? (writing)
Staff: Thoughtless. (writing)
[writing: Thoughtless assistant director]
Aiba: It's not 'thoughtless'! Just how thoughtless are you? Eh, so because of this what is it?
Sho: So does that mean the next one is the 101st episode? (writing)
Aiba: It'll be the 0st episode ne. We have to do a special! (writing) Either way.
Nino: Eh, can you do a special that easily? (writing)
Aiba: Um, the length won't change, it's in terms of the emotions. (writing)
Sho: A motivational story? (writign)
Aiba: that's right ne.
Jun: So the next one-
Aiba: That's right, that's right.
Nino: Ah, I seee ne, then let's do it.
Aiba: Let's do it for the next one, the 101st episode! We'll do it with me, Aiba Masaki, producing! (writing)
Sho: That makes me very nervous ne~.
Aiba: The 101st episode!
[Announcer: Which is to say, today it's the Aiba Masaki-produced 101st episode commemorative special! And, finally
the very day of shooting itself.]
Aiba: Alright~! The 101st episode special has begin! (writing)
Sho: Oh oh!
Aiba: It's begun, so be excited! yay~! So, what about it, what shall we do for the 101st episode special?
Jun: What did you think up?
Aiba: I thought about both us and everyone on the staff, and the results of my brainstorming were...
why don't we express our gratitude to everyone. (writing)
[writing: The them of the 101st episode commemorative special, let's be grateful!]
Aiba: So that's why we're here today ne.
Sho: You thought we should acknowledge our feelings of gratitude as part of the 101st episode special?
Aiba; Yes.
Sho: I'm sorry but you wearing that kind of get-up makes me very uneasy. (writing)
Jun: When was the last time you wore that?
Aiba: When I was the birdman! (writing)
Jun: Right?
Aiba: What of it?
Jun: The birdman was a failure ne?
[writing: An unpleasant memory...]
Aiba: No, that wasn't a failure!
Jun: No matter how you look at it that was a failure!
Aiba: No but-!
[writing: At which point the members quickly get uneasy...at that moment Aiba spots something outrageous! (writing)]
Aiba: That's...there's a tuna! A tuna threw himself up here! Maybe he jumped over the fence? (writing)
Jun: I think you're wrong, the tail is cut off. (writing)
Aiba: No no!
[writing: Severed]
Aiba: Ah, that's troublesome ne.
Jun: isn't this amazing?
Nino: Is this real? (writing)
Aiba: this is a real tuna! (writing)
Sho: Oh, it's huge!
Aiba: this is the 101st episode special ne.
Jun: Yes.
Aiba: I readied a 1.01 million yen tuna!
Sho: But why a tuna?? (writing)
Aiba: Are you an idiot?? (writing)
Jun: He;s not an idiot...
Aiba: Since the start of this year you've often seen tuna-san on tv ne?
Nino: You see them appear a lot ne.
Aiba: That's right ne. In teh New year Watari-san had a tuna-based-
Jun: In a drama.
Aiba: Ne! In a drama. So right now it's a tuna-boom! (writing)
Sho: Is that so?! (writing)
Aiba: Tuna-
Jun: This is from way back in teh new year right?
Aiba: You're wrong, when they show tuna on tv it's solid!
[writing: Solid: meaning definitely intractable (set in stone). Announcer: However, Aiba, exactly what are you
going to do using this 1.01 million yen tuna?]
Aiba: Today, we're going to go to the head honchos' place at FujiTV and share it! (writing)
Jun: Wonderful!
Sho: I see.
[writing: 01st episode special; Distribute tuna to all the people at FujiTV they rely on on a daily basis]
Aiba: Wonderful! You're in?
Jun: Wonderful, I'm in.
Aiba: You're in, you're in, you're in, you're in.
Sho: I'm not in! (writing)
Nino: I'm not in at all!
Ohno: Ah, wouldn't it be better to quit? (writing)
Nino: If you do that wouldn't that make it possibly the last episode? (writing)
Aiba: Wrong! (writing) The special-
Nino: It'll be the last episode. It definitely will! (writing) It'll definitely be the laSt episode.
Aiba: If it were to be at a point where it was the last episode, we might be able to take a step up! (writing)
Nino: We won't!
Aiba: We might!
Nino: We won't!
[Announcer: Furthermore, Aiba even has outfits for everyone...]
Aiba: Matsumoto-kun.
Jun: Yes!
Aiba: The cool black one. Cool, that's a good one!
Jun: Ah, so I have to do my best huh!
Aiba: Here, Ninomiya-kun.
[writing: For a chef's use?]
Jun: What's up? Hurry up and take it.
Aiba: Here, I prepared your outfit.
Nino: Why do I get this one? (writing)
Aiba: Hmm?
Nino: Ah, I said 'wy do I get this one?'
AAiba: Huh? What were Ninomiya-kun's father doing again? (writing)
Nino: He's a Japanese cuisine teacher. (writing)
Aiba: he's a teacher of Japanese cuisine ne, you're his son ne? (writing)
Nino: Yes.
Aiba: Even if the drama that's your role.
[writing: Haikei Chichiue-sama]
Aiba: Even for Ninomiya-kun who has the role of the son of a Japanese cuisine teacher-
Nino: But-
Aiba: -I think we'd like you take part in this.
Nino: That's dangerous~!
[writing: In charge of fileting]
Nino: That's dangerous!
Sho: Can thisn really cut it? (writing)
Aiba: Don't make me laugh! Really. (writing) Don't make me laugh! Watch this closely.
[writing: Slice!]
Jun: Cool~!
Aiba: So, that is to say, let's go everyone! Come on, let's go!
Jun: 'Let's go?' We don't have to bring this? (writing)
Aiba: It's okay, it'll follow us later! (writing) Let's go!
Sho: What kind of system is this? (writing)
[Annnouncer: Which is to say, the 101st episode commemorative special, Arashi's great tuna gratitude festival!
Without delay the five of them head for FujiTV]
Aiba: Alright!
Jun: Alright, we're here!
Aiba: The first step is the entrance!
Jun: The FujiTV entrance ne?
Aiba: Ne? Well, though I don't think I'm worried about it.
Sho: There's no way we can get through with this~! (writing)
Aiba: Eh?
Jun: It could work, I mean-
Aiba: Ne!
Nino: No no no, it can't work, I mean-
Sho: It can't work.
Jun: I mean, people with food usually come through here.
Aiba: That's right ne! There are people who walk in eating hamburgers right?
Nino: Have you seen people going in while eating tuna? (writing)
Aiba: Though I've never seen it-
Jun: Yeah, but that's just a question of size.
Aiba: That's right!
Nino: I don't think that's it.
Aiba: It's okay! There's no problem!
[writing: However!]
Aiba: Huh? One, two, three, four-
Nino: Five. Let's go.
Aiba: wait a sec! Wrong! Wrong wrong! Wrong! Huh? Our Leader isn't here. (writing)
[writing: Escape?]
Aiba: Leader!
Jun: Leader!
Aiba: Leader!
Jun: Leader!
Aiba: Leader, you aren't here are you Leader? Leader. There he is, there he is. What are you doing?
Sho: What's with that?
Aiba; What are you doing?
Ohno: I told you this is unpleasant! (writing)
Aiba: Why?
Ohno: I said let's quit, let's quit! (writing)
Aiba: Why?
Nino: But Captain-
Ohno: I have an incredibly bad feeling about this! (writing)
Aiba: Wrong, wrong, you see-
Jun: Why's that??
Aiba: okay, I get it, so this means that Leader ne, has no feelings of gratitude for all the staff that he relies
on habitually?
Ohno: No no, it's because I have them- let's go on peacefully!
Jun: Won't they be super happy when they see us come in carrying a 1.01 million tuna? (writing)
Aiba: Super! That's right!
Ohno: You're pulling at me, pulling at me, pulling at me... (writing)
Aiba: MatsuJun is such high spirits about it! (writing)
Jun: Let's hurry up and go!
[writing: Super high spirits!]
Nino: I'm telling you this is dangerous.
Ohno: MatsuJun this right now is something that won't end!
Aiba: It'll end!
Jun: Let's go! Super let's go!
Aiba: That's right. Just a sec, just a sec, I'm just going...at any rate, at any rate, one way or another, let's
try going, one way or another. Let's verify if it can't go well somehow. I'm going to go by myself.
[Announcer: However, generally, unless you have an entrance pass you can't get in.]
Jun: They'll let him in won't they? I mean, he's Arashi! (writing)
Nino: Doesn't he not know where to go? (writing) Ah, there it is, there it is.
Ohno: He's never been past there before.
[Announcer: In the end were the arrangements made?]
Nino: It's done? Let's go.
Sho: It was okay?
Nino: Let's go.
Aiba: Wait a sec, wait a sec. They stopped even just me! (writing)
[Announcer: Here they head to a sudden change in plans]
Aiba: When you're going into a television studio as you would expect you need an entrance badge right? (writing)
All: Yeah.
Aiba: If you have that they definitely can't stop you.
Sho: I see.
Aiba: hang on, Matsuzaki-san? Are you here Matsuzaki-san? I'm just going to use this for a sec, sorry ne!
Nino: You're going to use it already?
Aiba: Sorry sorry!
Nino: Unbelievable.
Jun: You're using it so quickly.
Aiba: Just- I'll get them to give us entrance badges.
[Announcer: So, with the power of the show's organizer, Matsuzaki-san, the five of them somehow get their hands
on some entrance badges]
Aiba: If we just temporarily put it on here...
Sho: Although I don't think that's the problem.
Ohno: Yeah.
Jun: But this means we've got entrance badges, we can get it in.
[Announcer: With an entrance badge on Tuna-kun they head for the inside of the television studio! In the end
will they be able to get in unhindered?]
Jun: Ah, hide it with that flag! (writing) Hide it with that flag! Just hide it with the flag.
Aiba: Hide it!
Jun: Thanks.
Aiba: Thanks. Matsumoto-kun, get him to cut it, get him to cut it.
Jun: Ah, please cut it.
Nino: Thanks.
Aiba: Yes, ah, excuse me. This too-
Guard: Is this a tuna? (writing)
Aiba: Eh?
[Announcer: Danger! In the end will the tuna be able to get into FujiTV?]
Aiba: This too-
Guard: Is this a tuna? (writing)
Aiba: Eh? Ah! No, um...please cut it for the moment, the tag.
Guard: Ah.
Aiba: The tag...just for now.
Guard: Yes. I cut it.
Nino: Huh??
Jun: The tuna's getting through!
Nino: It's getting in? (writing) It's getting in?
Jun: That means that the studio has given permission for us to bring this into the building ne?
Aiba: That's right ne.
Guard: You can bring it into the building. (writing)
Aiba: We can ne?
[Announcer: Somehow the infiltration was a success. However a new problem has appeared...]
Sho: Although it's good we were able to get into FujiTV, where are we going? (writing)
Aiba: Ah...
Jun: You haven't decided?
Aiba: That's the only thing I hadn't decided on. (writing)
Sho: That's something important!
Jun: I think that's something important.
Aiba: That's something important?
Nino: I mean, once you've got in you've got no purpose. (writing)
[writing: Certainly...]
Aiba: Because I didn't think that we'd get this far. I hadn't thought about it yet, but well, we'll decide it!
Jun: That's just you.
Aiba: You have no will to do it! (writing)
[writing: Zero will to do it]
Aiba: Ne.
Sho: That face!
Aiba: What is this?? Captain, where do you want to go? To whom do you want to bring this?
Nino: Challenge yourself, challenge yourself. If you're going to say something.
ohno: Well, the person who does narration for us, Abe- (writing)
Aiba: Chiyo-san?
ohno: Abe Chiyo-san.
[writing: Wants to be grateful to: the person in charge of narrating Mago Mago Arashi, Abe Chiyo-san]
Aiba: Abe Chiyo-san?
Jun: I've never met her.
Aiba: Never met her ne.
Sho: We'll definitely get her to meet us.
ohno: We'll definitely get her to meet us ne.
Aiba; Okay, then we've decided on Abe Chiyo-san.
Sho: That's right, we should go there.
Ohno: We're going?
Nino: Let's go.
[Announcer: They adopt Ohno's proposal. Now they head to the announcer room where Announcer Abe is]
Ohno: Good morning.
Aiba: Hello. Excuse me! Abe Chiyo-san...
ohno: Abe Chiyo-san...
Chiyo: Yes.
Aiba: Hi there! We're always in your care.
Chiyo: Thank you as always.
Aiba: From our part as well, thank you very much.
Chiyo: What happened today? That you're here with all these people?
Aiba: No no, ne, we always partake in your fantastic accompanying narration, we thought that we must greet
this Abe-san.
Chiyo: I haven't laid eyes on you even once, despite having been doing this for about 2 years. I'm happy (to
meet you). (writing)
Aiba: That's right ne. For our part as well.
Ohno: Thank you.
Chiyo: I'll make it so that next time if we don't meet I'll be the one to greet you.
Aiba/Ohno: No no no no!
Chiyo: Thank you.
Aiba: That's not it! Today ne, We brought along our present for Abe Chiyo-san ne. (writing)
Chiyo: Yes!
Aiba: After this.
Ohno: It's coming right away.
Aiba: It's coming right away. Look at that, she's really excited isn't she? (writing)
[Announcer: For the good humoured Abe-announcer, this will without a doubt delight her]
Aiba: Abe-san, your present!
Nino: Good mroning.
Chiyo: I'm so happy! Eh? Wait a sec-
Nino: This is Abe-san's.
Jun: Yes, sorry to keep you waiting, this is real tuna. (writing)
Aiba: Yes, real tuna~. Abe-san! This-
Chiyo: Please wait a minute. (writing) I mean...this is the real thing? (writing)
Jun: This is the real thing. You can eat it.
Chiyo: Excuse me, people I'm seeing for the first time and something unbelievable have come in so I'm kind of
panicked. (writing)
Nino: It's completely fine.
Aiba: No no no. Well, today well, we're giving ABe-san a present to express our true emotions.
Chiyo: Older brother...
Ken: Hi there, it's been awhile.
Sho: It's been awhile.
Aiba: It's been awhile.
Chiyo: Something unbelievable has-
Ken: Is this an exploration using the old map? (referring to Oedo Hakkenden)
Aiba: No no no, that's wrong, that's wrong.
Nino: This contains our feelings of gratitude. Believe it or not, it's the Mago Mago Arashi 101st episode
commemoration.
Aiba; That's right.
Ken: That's amazing ne~.
Nino: So as you would think we're conveying our gratitude to everyone who helps us on a day to day basis.
[Announcer: However! (writing)]
Chiyo: Suddenly carrying this into the announcer room...Leader. Leader. Does that mean this project is okay
with you? (writing)
Jun: That's why we told you, this is no good! (writing)
[writing: Betrayal]
Nino: We said this is no good.
Ken: So after all it was only Ohno-kun who proposed it.
Jun: That's right.
Nino: He said it with extremely high spirits. (writing)
Aiba: That's right ne. Somehow ne, really more and more-
Ohno: Cause he said that you would be extremely happy.
Aiba: He said [If we bring in tuna it'll be solid!] (writing)
Chiyo: It wasn't 'solid' huh?
Ohno: I'm sorry! (writing)
Chiyo: Yes. Whose plan was this? (writing)
Aiba: Eh? Leader.
Ohno: Ah...it's me ne... (writing)
Chiyo: It might have been better to draw a picture. (writing)
Ohno: Yeah.
[Announcer: One way or another it's become an unpleasant atmosphere...And then...]
Aiba: Abe-chan, if it wouldn't offend you, perhaps you would partake in just eating it... (writing)
Chiyo: Oh! If that were how it was it would be a completely different story<3 (writing)
Aiba: That's right ne! Different ne!
Nino: There we go.
Chiyo: Different.
Aiba: If you want to eat some our Ninomiya-kun here will cut it.
Chiyo: Ah, I saw Haikei Chichiue-sama!
Nino: That's why I keep telling you you're all mistaken. That's a drama! (writing) Ne?
Ohno: Where would be good for you ne?
Ken: This good spot in the middle of the stomach.
[Announcer: Both of them order the ootoro (fattiest, tastiest tuna) which is in the belly. Ninomiya, who has shown
his magnificent chef skills, will filet it!]
Chiyo: We're partaking of the very first cut ne? (writing)
Aiba: That's right.
Chiyo: Thank you very much. (writing)
Aiba: It'll be delicious.
Nino: Ah, Aiba-chan, sorry.
Aiba: Be careful!
Ohno: Wonderful!
Jun: It looks super tasty! This is amazing!
Chiyo: That's impossible, so if you were to cut it a little...
Aiba: Do you use rice and such?
Nino: Please choose various things.
Aiba: There's various things.
Ken: Well, as you would think, I want it in nigiri form~. (writing; meaning on a single ball of rice)
Aiba: Nigiri!
Jun: Nigiri.
Aiba: We've got nigiri! (writing)
Jun: We've got nigiri. If you please.
Ken: This in a sushi restaurant is kind of amazing.
Sho: That's amazing!
Chiyo: Amazing~!
Sho: Abe-san, then, please say 'where could today's tuna be?'
Chiyo: Where could the tuna brought by today's grandkids be? (writing)
Sho: It's here~! (writing)
Aiba: There it is.
Nino: Ne, ne ne. There's other people here. (writing)
[Announcer: Ninomiya skillfully molds the 1.01 million yen high quality tuna caught near Osaka. In the end, how will it taste?]
Chiyo: Delicious~! (writing)
Ohno: Ah, that's great huh.
Sho: That's great.
Ken: Ninomiya-san, um, what kind of tuna is this? (writing)
Nino: This is real tuna man! (writing)
[writing: Talking informally for some reason]
Jun: 'It's real tuna man!';P
Nino: Real tuna.
Aiba: Pretty much real tuna.
Ken: Thanks for the food! Tasty! (writing)
Nino: Ah, it's tasty? Tasty?
Jun: Seriously?
Aiba: So with this, being at FujiTV today with everyone, if we just leave this, it's a present for you.
Chiyo: Eh? This??
Ken: Please leave it.
Aiba: Please enjoy this with everyone.
Ken/Chiyo: Thank you very much.
Jun: Thank you very much.
Ken: Thanks for your hard work.
Aiba: We're in your debt.
Chiyo: Thanks for your hard work.
Jun: Then-
Aiba; Let's go to the next one! (writing)
Chiyo: Amazing~!
[Announcer: Leaving the announcer room with the high quality tuna in tow they head one floor up to the FujiTV
variety production center. Exactly who is the personage to whome Arashi wants to gift their tuna?]
Aiba: Ah, there they are, there they are! Let's go. Let's go courteously.
Jun: Let's go courteously.
Aiba: Alright.
Jun: Good morning!
Aiba: Good morning! Hi there, excuse us.
[Announcer: In charge of variety organization and production, this is Minato Kouichi-san. In complete control
of variety here at FujiTV, he's a very important person!]
Jun: [Mago Mago Arashi] has reached it's 101st broadcast episode, so to commemorate that... (writing)
Aiba: Yes.
Jun: Eh, so we've come to where the people are who take care of us on a day to day basis, to settle accounts!
(writing)
[writing: Are you a Yankee?? (street gang)]
Aiba: Minato-san, we're always in your debt. minato-san, do you know the show [Mago Mago Arashi]?
Kouichi: Of course, I know it.
Aiba: Ah, is that true?
Jun: is that true?
Aiba: Do you perrhaps watch it?
Kouichi: I watch, um, I saw it yesterday, at home, at home.
Aiba; Ah, is that true? How was it, Arashi?
Kouichi: Ah, um, it became really good! (writing)
Aiba: Ah, is that true??
[writing: Rave reviews!]
Jun: Thank you very much!
Aiba: oh, thanks.
Kouichi: Well I mean, because it's raw Arashi.
Aiba: That's right ne?
Kouichi: Ne.
Aiba: That's right ne.
kouichi: That SMAP ne, how many years has it been?
Jun: That's right ne.
kouichi: If you compare it to that, it's already wonderful.
Aiba: Thnaks! Thank you very much! So, today, for you Minato-san ne, from us we have a truly, truly poor quality
present.
Kouichi: oh, thanks.
[Announcer: Mintao-san is in an overly receptive mood! However, now a substantial problem comes to light!]
Nino: Hey, this tuna is already second-hand! (writing)
Ohno: That's right, that's right.
Nino: Is this okay? Wouldn't it be better invert it (the underside)? (writing)
ohno: Let's invert it.
Aiba: Let's invert it! (writing)
Jun: Let's invert it!
Aiba: let's invert it!
[Announcer: To make Minato-san think that they came directly to him they hurriedly flip over the tuna. In the
end will it turn out okay?]
Jun: We brought it over!
Kouichi: Uwa~ amazing~! (writing)
Aiba: Hi there, um, it's something unelegeany but we've brought one tuna!
kouichi: Amazing ne!
Jun: To commemorate our 101st episode we have a 1.01 million yen tuna this time.
Aiba: Do you like tuna?
Kouichi: Yeah, I like it, I like it.
Aiba: Is that true? Specifically, that is, specifically which part do you like, in terms of tuna? (writing)
Kouichi: That, as you would guess, is the ootoro of course! (writing)
Jun: Ootoro!
Aiba: It was ootoro early wasn't it?
Kouichi: You're kidding!
Aiba: No!
Nino: No no, it's fine.
Jun: This is a new item! (writing)
Aiba: It happens to be a new item.
Nino: It's a new item.
Kouichi: Huh? It's been cut! (writing)
Jun: That's been cut.
Nino: It's cut.
Jun: Someone ate it before me?! (writing)
Aiba; No no no!
Jun: This is normal!
Aiba: They normally cut this.
Jun: Where would be good ne?
Kouichi: Eh, is there already no ootoro?
Jun: No, there's still some.
Kouichi: Then, as you would think, ootoro of course.
Jun: Ootoro.
Aiba: As you would think ne.
Kouichi: Wonderful.
Aiba; Wonderful.
Jun: Ootoro.
Nino: Yes, ootoro!
Aiba: Minato-san, how do you eat it? We brought a lot of things today. Sushi, or as it is in sashimi-
Kouichi: Ah, sashimi! (writing)
Aiba: Sashimi is it?
[Announcer: High quality real tuna into sashimi. How will it taste?]
Nino: How is it?
Kouichi: Tasty! (writing)
Jun: Oh, there we go!
Aiba: oh, thank goodness.
Jun: Thank you very much.
Aiba: We're sorry for kind of suddenly barging in like this.
Nino: Really.
Kouichi: It's the best ne.
[Announcer: After Minato-san is in good spirits from eating the tuna Aiba has a certain proposal for him!]
Aiba; Minato-san, um...excuse me but...would a slot for Golden Week be open ne? (writing)
Kouichi: Ah, Golden ne.
Aiba: Yes.
Kouichi: I think it's open. (writing)
Aiba; is that true??!
Jun: Really?
Aiba; Is that true?
Kouichi: A slot ne. (writing)
Aiba: Ah, a slot ne. Um...would even a one-shot special be okay? If that's the case, if that's the case then,
just once, I think we'd like to exert all of our strength as soon as possible.
Kouichi: An Arashi special is it?
Aiba: Yes. By all means ne, if you were to place your name and seal right here... (writing) That would help us
a lot.
Kouichi: I, section chief in charge of variety, Minato Kouichi, pledge that the appointed television show for
Arashi will possess a slot in Golden Week. (writing)
Aiba: Yes, um um, if you would not look at this part too much... (writing) Just your name and seal.
[Announcer: In the end, Arashi's fate is?]
(writing) Just your name and seal.
kouichi: A proclamation. I have to consult with programming ne.
Staff: Discuss ne.
Aiba: Ah, a discussion is it?
Kouichi: Alright! Got it! (writing)
Aiba: Is that true??
Sho: That in and of itself is making my uneasy! (writing)
Nino: This is just to confirm but, this is the real thing ne? (writing) I mean, he just decided that easily!
You decide that easily?
Aiba: It's because we brought this today.
Kouichi: This is good ne?
Aiba: Yes.
Sho: Um, just, just a signature?
Aiba: Ah, a thumbprint is fine, a thumbprint is fine! (writing)
Kouichi: A thumbprint?
Sho: Ah, the tuna blood! (writing)
Aiba: It's over there. With a thumbprint and a signature they're going to let us do Golden Week. Thank you!
Jun: Wonderful!
Aiba: thank you very much! Sorry!
Jun: Thank you very much!
Aiba: Um...when does it start? (writing) When does it start? You don't know yet?
Kouichi: I don't know yet.
Aiba: He doesn't know yet. He doesn't know yet but...
Sho: This is kind of...
Aiba: this is-
Sho: Look!
Ohno: Tuna blood.
Sho: Is even tuna blood something binding? (writing)
Aiba: It's binding, it's binding, it's okay. We're sorry for intruding.
Kouichi: Oh, no.
AIba: Thank you very much.
Sho: From hre on as well we ask for you favor.
Aiba: We ask for your favor.
Jun: Thank you very much.
Kouichi: Thank you for the present. If you would do your best.
Aiba: Understood, thank you very much.
[Announcer: Though their real motive wa something different, after having been awarded this great boon by Minato-san
they head up one floor to the sports room.]
Sho: It's Kondo.
Aiba: There he is!
Sho: Kondo, that's amazing isn't it? The figures.
Aiba: You're doing it ne~.
Sho: It's been awhiel Kondo-san.
Aiba: Yes, it's been awhile.
[Announcer: The sports department's full-time service chief Kondo Norihiko-san]
Arashi: This is Arashi. On the 2nd of November we-
[Announcer: In reality, 8 years ago Arashi debuted as the image characters for the World Cup of Volleyball. At
that time he was a person they relied on to an extraordinary extent.]
Kono: You guys have become able to do talks ne? (writing)
Aiba: What's that? What's that? This-
Sho: That's thanks to Kondo-san. (writing)
Aiba: That's right. That's right, it's Kondo-san.
Kondo: That's right, that's right.
Aiba: Because it's all thanks to Kondo-san. Ne?
Kondo: Do you really think that? (writing)
Aiba: Yeah, I think that!
Sho: Kondo-san, in reality we brought a big present.
Aiba: That's right.
Sho: Is it okay if you waited a bit?
Kondo: Yes.
[Announcer: In the end will Kondo-san be happy?]
kondo: Hi there.
Jun: Hi there. It's been awhile.
Aiba: Oh, everyone...Everyone! Do you like tuna? (writing) Do you like it? How about it?
Nino: How about it? It's expensive!
[Announcer: They're received with a warmer reception in the sports office than they had imagined. However!]
Kondo: I don't want to be told that be you! (writing)
Aiba: I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
[Announcer: At Aiba's improper comment Kondo-san is greatly enraged!]
Aiba: What part shall we go with ne? Leader, please show it to him.
Kondo: The eyes!
Aiba: The eyes? We're going with the eyes? Shall we go? It'll make you smarter. (writing)
Kondo: I don't want to be told that be you! (writing)
Aiba: I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Kondo: I'm 43 years old! (writing)
Aiba: Ah, I'm sorry. Where shall we go with?
Kondo: Let's go with the eyes! (writing)
Aiba: We're going with the eyes? We're doing that! (writing)
Nino: He's an idiot.
Aiba: Don't call me an idiot.
Sho: Kondo-san, how was it, how were we 8 years ago?
Kondo: Eh? it was a lot of trouble, your debut in Hawaii.
Aiba: That's right ne.
Sho: Do you remember Hawaii?
Kondo: I remember it, because it was so much trouble. On a boat...for the press conference ne, everyone on that
big boat, riding out from port. Ninomiya, why are so noisy?
Nino: So try eating that! (writing)
Kondo: That's impossible! (writing) Impossible, impossible.
Aiba: Ah but, can this work raw?
Staff: It can work.
Aiba: if it's Kondo-san it could work! (writing)
Kondo: I'm telling you it won't work!
Jun: If you used the energy you have right now it could work couldn't it? (writing)
Staff: That's extremely dangerous ne.
Nino: Normally you don't eat it.
Kondo: Though if you could have done this 8 years ago it would have been easier. (writing)
[writing: Criticism!]
Nino: That's how it is ne.
Sho: That's inexcusable;P That's inexcusable.
Aiba; We weren't used to it.
Jun: At the time it was impossible ne.
Nino: Then how about we go with the cheeks, the cheeks.
[Announcer: To gain Kondo-san's good will Ninomiya will make the cheek meat into sashimi. Upon which...]
Nino: I'm cutting it.
Kondo: That's too light! (writing)
Nino: You toild me to do it this much! Shut up~! (writing)
Kondo: Why you...
Aiba: He's telling you it's no good, right now we're in the sports domain.
Nino: Ah, is that so, that's how it is.
Aiba: Ne. We're in your domain ne?
Kondo: You've gotten to be able to say good things ne~. (writing)
Aiba: Ne! Ah, the size is good isn't it, the size is good isn't it?
Jun: Ah, it looks tasty huh~.
Sho: It kind of looks like horse meat huh.
Nino: It's the cheek.
Jun: How about it, will you go with the cheek? When you eat the cheek raw it's delicious.
Aiba: Ah, it's perfect.
Sho: Because it's written [to take out of the group], that's why it's 'perfect' ne. (writing; talking about
the kanji used)
Aiba: That's right ne.
Kondo: You memorized kanji! (writing)
Aiba: He memorized kanji.
Jun: He memorized kanji.
Aiba: Because he's a Keio boy ne! (writing) Delicious?
Kondo: Delicious, delicious! (writing)
Aiba: Delicious!
Nino: Really?
Kondo: Yeah, tasty.
Ohno: Your expression doesn't show it. (writing)
Jun: Don't criticise him! (writing)
Aiba: If he says it's delicious then it's delicious!
Kondo: I nromally don't have this kind of thing! I'm overcome! (writing)
Aiba: Overcome;P It's delicious ne?
Kondo: Yes, delicious. It was incredibly delicious.
Sho: Kondo-san, after this as well, we ask your favor please.
Nino: Your favor please.
Kondo: You've made so much growth so far, please continue to do your best.
Jun: Thank you.
Aiba: Thank you. Again then.
[Announcer: The five of them are reunited with Kondo-san for the first time in ages. The palce they headed
last of all is the FujiTV employee cafeteria. What are they planning on doing this time?]
Aiba: Excuse me, um...we'd kind of like to supply you with some tuna.
Staff: Yes.
Aiba: Would there happen to be a person in charge of that ne?
Staff: Ah, yes!
Sho: What duty would that be?
Aiba: Tuna duty-
Nino: Owner!
Staff: Ooshima-san, excuse me.
Aiba: Ooshima-san, nice to meet you, we're Arashi. From us, as part of our feelings, we'd like to supply you
with tuna! (writing)
Ooshima: Ah, yes.
Aiba: Could we get you to take this? (writing)
Ooshima: Ah, yes! (writing)
Sho: You'll take it?! (writing)
Nino: Sorry ne, Ooshima-san.
[Announcer: Even individually they want to get many people from FujiTV to eat tuna. A modest present from the five
who were thinking of that.]
Staff; Thanks, because of this is my first time eating this.
[AnnouncerL In this way the Arashi tuna gratitude festival finished as a big success!]

It's kind of cute how they went around distributing raw tuna to everyone (could it be the best sushi ever?XD) Although I'm guessing most people were a little...non-plussed;P But Aiba's bakaness triumphs once againXD And I lvoed how everyone blamed it on Ohno, that's too funny;P It's really sweet how Aiba gave Jun the black apron, they're so cute<3

Also, I have Jun's most recent Arajin article from TV Guide, where he talks about touring the world...;P

Arajin
The fifth edition is MatsuJun. With the drama safely over he breathes a sigh of relief (even though the Summer
concerts are right away...) if he were to go out with the other members "Where would you go? What would you do?"

Arashi's Tour Special Edition, Single Release!, after which the reward tour!

"The coordinator is myself, Matsumoto."

MatsuJun's suggestion: After Asia it's the world? An enforced World Tour

The meet-up is at Narita Airport at 4pm, see you then.

If it was the five of us going then I want to go again ne~, to Hawaii. It's the place where there are memories
of Arashi's debut, and it would also encorporate a kind of new departure for our 8th year. Then, it wouldn't
be a question of what we'd do, we'd relax.
When I went a year ago around New Year's with Aiba-chan and Nino, as usual, they invited me about a week before
weleft (laughs). Because I went I wasn't able to meet and relax with various people around New Year's ne. Other
than that, I speak of this gratefully but, around now we've all been too busy for the last few years, so if
it were now I'd look forward to it as a chance to reset.
As an individual I guess LA is good too. That and there aren't particularly any places I'd try going to, that sense
of nothingness is actually a really good feeling... Because it's a place I sometimes want to visit incognito
I think I could also guide people around a little.
England is a country I want to go to at least once. Although it's an incredibly individual thing, I want to goo
shopping for things like accessories. These? (necklace and ring) That's right, those pirate ones. These are
the Japanese ones, but I want the ones that they would have over there. Well, because I think Riidaa wouldn't
be interested I'd have him sleep inside the plane... Ah, I forgot to say this but, this would be the forced
march after the Asia tour promotion (laughs). And the closer would be playing around in the ocean in Australia
where we went for the TV show. Maybe impossible cause we'll be tired (laughs).

Haha, I lvoe how he doesn't mention until the end that it's not a voluntary tourXD And he'd go all the way to England to buy accessories, and have Ohno sleep on the plane!XDD Ohh, that's such a funny mental image...;P It's strange that he could show people around LA though, I didn't realize he'd been there that much^^; But it's nice that he'd want them to all go to Australia to play by the ocean together^^

Well, that's all for now=) How is everyone?^^ Over here it's unbelievably hot, and someone I work with lost his cousin to heat stroke the other dayO_O I didn't know you could die from that...now I'm worried that walking around in Japan I might need to carry an umbrealla or something to keep from frying my brain^^; I hope you're all enjoying the summer, and that you're getting some time to relax^^free web stats

I'll time this MMA Tuna as usual ;) Thank you very much for the translations although you're very busy...

btw nyanchan, I kinda looked out through your old post. I wonder whether the Utawara Special where Jun went to Taiwan and got pranked by one of the female host has already been subbed? If not, I'd like to sub it :D

Oo, well I'm from Arizona, and there have been some cases where parents leave their kids in the car, and die from the heat. SO DANGEROUS! But that happened in Japan? I didn't know it was possible over there because I didn't think it got THAT ridiculously hot. I used to live there and I don't remember a summer day in Japan as hot as a summer day here in Arizona...
[info]nyanchan wrote:

Yikes, that's horribleO_o No, that didn't happen in Japan, it happened here where I live:S I don't know, but I always thought that it was hotter in Japan because it's more tropical there...how hot is it usually in summer? In celsius please, I'm CanadianXD

I don't remember what the temperature was like in Japan exactly, but here in Arizona, in the summer it can get as high as 45C, but averages around 38-40C day to day.

I love that episode especially when Nino counted the tuna in place of Ohno, I almost cried XDDD But I love how Jun was like, "They'll definetly let us in, we're Arashi," I was thinking the exact same thing lol But apparently they're way strict :3

but as I read the article about a world tour, the whole time I sat here thinking, "I want to go tour the world."
..without the dancing and singing though because I don't want to burn anyone's eyes and ears :X But how great does touring the world sound?! AHHH~ Dreaaaams~~

Also, many apologies for not commenting in a long time. Work has been a little bit of hell. You'll be in Japan soon right? So fun!! Do email me if you still need directions to the Johnny's shops. You can reach me at etherealhope at yahoo dot com.

Yay~ Thankies for the translations~ (nearly wrote "trannies" XP)

Ahh~ sounds like one hell of a week~ good luck this week as well.

Yeah, heat kills. Every year about 10 die of heat stroke in my state alone and we only have 1/20 of the national population~ It's really dangerous coz people don't really think about it, but when it gets 40-45C it really does some damage :O

On a lighter note, it's just like him to go to the UK for accessories huh? XD
OMG I would be there in a flash if they had a concert in Hawaii! One of the main reasons I'm scared to go to a con now is that I'm not confident enough to go to a country where I'm not fluent in the main language alone. I'd be completely lost! But Hawaii speaks english! I know english!

Oh, by the way Jun, the beaches in SA are so much better than in QLD and NSW~ Prettier and less crowded. And Streaky Bay has really good waves. I'll be your guide, free of charge~! XD

Take care and keep cool~

Totally, a side trip to Europe for jewelry, he's a boy after my own heartXD
Ah, a concert in Hawaii would be perfect!<3 It's way closer than Japan, and I have to admit, although I do speak Japanese it'd be easier if I could be lazy and use English;P

Haha, you know just how to lure him in don't you??XDD You're hoping he'll bring Ohno along for the ride too huh?;P

Hope you're doing well, mata ne^^

Nyanchan... you need to make a detour to my place on your way to Japan so I can hide in your luggage~ Ahhhhhhhh~ I'm so jealous of everyone who gets to go to the concerts~ Come on Hawaii concert~
Ah! Hawaii'd be a great place for the 10th anniversary concerts don't you think? *dreams*

Yup yup, how did you know? *has OHNO FANGIRL across forehead* XD
But I lied about not charging him. I think I should charge 1 Arashi member for each day of the tour, that way I could collect them all! Just like Pokemon! XP

I like this ep and the article. I wish that they could have sometime off after the concert but it seems impossible. Poor thing...
Thank you for your hard working 6 days in a row is toooo much. But then again you're leaving for Japan to have some fun pretty sooon. Wish you the best. Enjoy your trip and have a safe trip back home. Don't forget to drink lots and lots of water.
