Hey everyone, are you tired of seeing me post yet?XD It's been ages since I've been able to post this frequently, it's kind of fun...^^ First off, I want to thank the sweet yuckie_chan for my beautiful new layout<3 I get mesmerized when I load my page sometimesXD Thank you so much!X3
Today I went out to dinner with a friend and then saw I Am Legend, which is a really good movie if anyone's interested:) My friend even said she wants to read the book now that she's seen it...I wouldn't go that far (like I have time to readXD) but it was a very moving movie and unlike most movies I couldn't predict exactly what was going to happen next right down to the very lines they say. Strong characters, and they made sure to play up the psychological aspects, plus the directing style was very free and clean. I found myself wondering what Jun would think...;)
But, speaking of Jun...XD I know normally I don't go out of order and just translate whatever aired next, but because I felt like it wouldn't be the same if I posted it in January I translated the xmas episode of Shukudai-kun:D

It's been so long since I've made a post! I'm so sorry to everyone for not replying to your comments/emails/posts sooner, I really wanted to be caught up by now:S I missed you all...It's been a wacky week, Wednesday was my first day off in a week and a half, but at least I'm done school for a bit now!^^ I will do my best to make up for lost time now:) Today will just be a short post for my part (though a long one for the translations;P) because I plan on posting a little more frequently once I expedite the backlog=) Anyways, is it just me or does the holiday season make you super lazy? Like, I just had my office holiday party last night, and afterwards I just wanted to lie around and stare at the walls, my will to move just completely deserted me;P And yet I have to work again tonightXD Hope they're not expecting much energy;P Oh, and at the union party last week one of the guys said until I showed up in a skirt and started singing karoke that he though I was some kind of robot>_< I can't put much stock in anything he says cause he's a pretty typical horndog/burnout but still...that was not nice:S
Alrighty then, this should answer a few questions that have been floating around...yes, I will be translating GRA, to the best of my abilities (gosh it's wordy;P)...and here's the first episode, in it's entirety:)

Oh boy, it's been a long week...I've been doing my best not to complain, not to slack off, and despite the assignment, the paper, the math test, 5 days of work and 7 hours of translating I'm still here. But gosh darn am I tired...or rather, weary:S Somewhere around Thursday evening my resolve broke and since then I've been having a very hard time staying on track with what I should be doing...like studying for the 3 mid-terms next weekXD My old self is whispering maliciously in my ear, saying "I told you so" and trying to convince me to jsut let it all slide and stop caring, but I refuse to do that. I just have to keep my goals in focus, treasure the small moments of happiness when they come along, and never lose that little well of joy in my heart that keeps me going when I feel like I'm carrying the world on my back all by myself>_< But I have to be realistic, I have a place I can call home, I have food, I have a job (at least for now...contract's coming up and I'm pretty nervous:S), I'm not failing my classes, only one person at work hates me...;P I have Arashi, who gave me so much energy this summer that I can't help but turn their way like a sunflower when I'm down, just like Jun told us to<3
Thank you all for your kind comments and your continued support, I appreciate it more than you know:3 There are days when I come home from work and I have one new comment, and reading that makes me smile and suddenly the day doesn't seem like it was quite so bad^^ I'm sincerely sorry if I'm late replying, or if I miss posting a comment of my own...it's not because I don't want to, and I feel bad, but I will try my bestXS
With that said, let's move along to the fun stuff!:D Today I have the translation of the MMA from 07.09.22, the last Oedo Hakkenden *cries*. Oh, and before I forget, I couldn't find a copy of the episode from the 29th anywhere!O_o I can't translate what I cna't see, if someone could point me to some links I would very much appreciate it:3

心が重くなった。。。でも、諦めやすいタイプじゃない！頑張りましょうよ、幸せになろう！：D

I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to have anything to offer this week, I was in Edmonton for a work conference from 5am Wednesday to 6pm Friday and though I had fully planned on getting lots of studying done during that time...yeah, I got stuck on a math problem for a couple hours and spent the rest of the time hanging out with my co-workersXDD And since I have a math test on Wednesday and a paper due tomorrow I was freaking out quite a bit, but thank goodness I got both Saturday and Sunday off from work, I was able to spend all Friday eve. and Saturday playing catch up^^; Which left today free to translate:)
That was my first time in Edmonton as an adult, and while I love flying and seeing new places it wasn't the most interesting city^^; But...I did ride a rollercoaster!XD This is West Edmonton Mall the second largest mall in the world, and it has the world's biggest triple-loop indoor rollercoaster;) It's called the Mindbender, and boy does it ever live up to its nameXD I was kind of wanting to try a slightly milder rollercoaster for my first ride of my life, but a co-worker suggested it and...I just had to try it;P The first stretch wasn't bad, but when we got to the top (which is apparently as high as the Statue of Liberty, although it really didn't look like itO_o) I seriously wondered how crazy I must have been to say yesXDD But oh man was it fun~X3 I cna understand why Jun likes them so much, I had a blast:3 Although, my glasses fell off at some point and I managed to grab them before we went upside down again, or else I would be effectively blind right nowO_o And going through the loops really hurt my neck, I must have a weak spine or something^^; But what an experience!X3 Ah~, next time I'd like to try that with a certain someone~<3
Other than that, boring meetings, one of the crappiest 4-star hotels I've ever been to, and very very little sleep is all the impression I have of the whole trip...glad to be back;P And I heard about Arashi's new show...but I like MMA!>_< It's cute and different every week, and Jun was just starting to appear more often...and easier to translate;P Oh well, let's see what they have in store for us this time ne:)

Gomen ne minna, I worked 6 days in a row again this week so I just didn't have enough time to post>_< The new job is now taking up more of my time than it used to, but since I don't dislike it as much as my last job I actually don't mind too much. The only problem is, I keep forgetting to take my breaks, and trying to do too much at once, and I've had two nights in a row of nightmares/restless dreams about workO_o So, enough about that, Arashi time!XD
By this friday I should have my very own AAA DVD (if the mail works the way I hope it does;P), and until then I've been religiously avoiding spoilers (I'm a delayed gratification kind of personXD), but I'm so excited alreadyX3 It seems like the month since they announced it has just flown by, time really is moving faster and faster...;P

Well, apparently spring is over alreadyXDD It's been getting hotter and hotter for the last week, and last night it was so bad I had trouble falling asleep...which leaves me wondering for the Nth time why I live in a city where we have pretty much two seasons: Winter and construction^^; Winter lasts 6 months, Speing lasts a month, and in Summer there's construction everywhere because we're built on a flood plain and everything keeps settling...then one month of Fall and back to Winter^^; *sigh* Well, spring was ncie while it lasted...at least I have some really awesome thunderstorms to look forward to this summerXDD
Saa, moving along...this week it's the Shukudai-kun with Fukada Kyoko and the mouth-watering tempura marshmallows;P
