Ah well, moving along, I have thought of a proposal in terms of translating. I thought I'd finish off both GRA and Shukudai-kun's remaining 2007 stuff, but after that I'm opening the field up to requests. So everyone, tell me what *you* want to see (to avoid things like the figure-skating SP which, for good reason, was just not a big hit^^;;), and I'll try to go from there. Anything up to last week in any show is up for grabs, first come first serve;) This goes for when I get back as well, because with both school and work there's no way I can catch up if I go in a linear fashion, so I'll do what I can^^ Please let me know what you think of this idea.
Today I have the translation of the Shukudai-kun from 07.12.03 with crazy Katsuyo's hubbie and Aiba and Sho's gunshot scene;P

I did it, I safely finished summer coursesXD I still don't have my final grades back, but all signs point to a happy outcome, so I'm quite content to just move along with my summer;P And that means I can finally (guiltlessly) devcote more time to my favorite pastime, translating<3 So, I may be a little slow to start back up, but I hope to have lots to share soon^^ To begin with, if no one's doing Utaban I'd be more than happy to, and there was apparently there was a HnoA HanaDan special...was that translated? I have no idea, I'm so behind it rends me down to the depths of my studied-out soulXD And the new songs, is anyone interested in translations or is that done already?;)
Well, today I have a nice spread to celebrate my vacation with (is it still a vacation when you're working full time?XD). Let's start it off with a hilarious Shukudai-kun, the one from 07.12.10 where the boys compete to get hit in the mouth with fresh toastXDDD

I love soft rainy days...the way the water mists down and leaves everything slightly damp and fragrant, how it gives the light such softened, gentle edges, the musical sound of the individual drops sprinkling the pavement. And they always feel like some kind of alternate time...like the weather is encouraging everyone to stay inside and enjoy their creature comforts, just relax and be at peace. I'm lucky enough to not have school today so I can study for my two tests coming on Tuesday and Wednesday^^ Still have to go to work, but since it's a holiday I get time and a half, yay:) I caught another cold on Thursday (seriously, not cool *kicks immune system*) and am slowly recovering, but for this little space of time things feel calm, so I'm trying to savor it.

Okay, crazy week. Long story short, I was home for a total of 5 hours outside of sleeping last week, and by Saturday I was so rundown I couldn't even function, just staring into space semi-shaky brokennessO_o But I feel much better today, and so I'm sorry this post is so late but better late than never I hope:) To all my flist, really...really sorry:S I feel so bad, I hate missing posts...>_< Hopefully this week will be less insane, but I really have to cut back on certain things or I'm going to lose my mind for real;P

I'm feeling a little lost this week...I've been spending too much time out with my friends when I should be studying, and my conscience is eating me aliveO_o That's just s symptom of my downswing though, last week I pushed myself really hard, and all this week I've been working hard...and now it's rebound time, where I just don't feel like doing a darn thing;P Someone told me the other day that the reason they instituted reading week is because so many unviersity/college students were comitting suicide in the month of February (which, by the way, still has the highest suicide rate of all the monthsO_o)...I had no idea, it was kind of a shock^^; But I think I cna understand why, at this point it starts to feel endless, and the bleak winter weather doesn't help. I always thought it was because of Valentine's day that february was so badXDDD
Oh, and before I forget, Happy Birthday Sho-kun!:D It's over in Japan, but here it's still the 26th, so here's to your champagne birthday~:) May it be as filled with new meetings and goals and happinesses as the all the others combined^^ I have a little gift later...;)

On the way from an appointment to work the other day Na!Na!Na! suddenly popped up on my mp3 player, and it was like hearing it for the first time...I'd never really listened closely to it before, it always took a back seat to Kitto Daijoubu for me. But for some reason that day it really resonated with me (and that's one of the things I lvoe most about music, that the same tune can suddenly mean everything:3)...I had it o replay for a bit, and then of course I had to translate it:)

Hey everyone, are you tired of seeing me post yet?XD It's been ages since I've been able to post this frequently, it's kind of fun...^^ First off, I want to thank the sweet yuckie_chan for my beautiful new layout<3 I get mesmerized when I load my page sometimesXD Thank you so much!X3
Today I went out to dinner with a friend and then saw I Am Legend, which is a really good movie if anyone's interested:) My friend even said she wants to read the book now that she's seen it...I wouldn't go that far (like I have time to readXD) but it was a very moving movie and unlike most movies I couldn't predict exactly what was going to happen next right down to the very lines they say. Strong characters, and they made sure to play up the psychological aspects, plus the directing style was very free and clean. I found myself wondering what Jun would think...;)
But, speaking of Jun...XD I know normally I don't go out of order and just translate whatever aired next, but because I felt like it wouldn't be the same if I posted it in January I translated the xmas episode of Shukudai-kun:D

Only one more week to go! One week, and then free time for a whole monthX3 Although, I think my brain is already on vacation, ever since I overcame that which they call 'Wednesday' I've been seriously lacking in motivation^^; But thank you so much for all your support and kindness, it really helped a lot:3 My contract got renewed (until right before my bday^^;), the assignment and paper got done, and the world didn't come to an end in the processXD Now, just the exams left...O_o
Unfortunately, since I really should be studying and because I still have to work tomorrow I don't have enough time this weekend to do the full episode of GRA (which, given my alternating schedule, would have been up this week):S It's 70min after all!>_< Plus, I decided to try doing a little of it after I finished the episode I picked for today, and in the version I have the audio is almost completely out of sync, which makes it absolutely infuriating to watch, let alone translate^^; So...long story short, I'm spending 6 hours to try and download another version, and I did the next Shukudai-kun innstead;) That would be the one from 07.10.08 where they do a preview of the Odoroki Sp=)

Yeah...I cna't believe I've been sick for a weekXD I honestly thought it would be over really quickly, it didn't feel that bad...but then Saturday night I got the chills so bad my teeth were chattering, I spent Sunday in bed because if I got up I got so dizzy I thought I was going to be sick:S On Monday I really didn't feel well enough for work but I had to go train a classroom full of people so I went in anyway, and by Tuesday night I was feeling relatively better...except I lost my voice and went into coughing spasms at the drop of a hatXDD You know, this is the first time I've ever had laryngitis, it was pretty weird; ordering food is like some kind of sad joke, I called someone on the phone to cancel a meet up and they thought I was a prank caller;P It finally started coming back last night, I'm almost fully okay now, but for some reason the laryngitis still seems really really funny to meXD But I often worried about what would happen if any of the boys ever got it, that would be a huge problem ne...O_o I'd take it in their place if I could, cause frankly as annoying as it is people treat you a lot nicer for some reason^^;
Anyway, I'm sure I missed a ton of things as my brain was in energy conservation mode, I apologize for taking so long to reply>_< But today I have the translation of the Shukudai-kun from 07.09.17 (which I accidentally skipped 2 weeks ago, thatnks to techni_teddy for pointing it outXD) with Yamada Yuu and her body warping yoga;P

It's over...my two weeks of heavy schoolwork is over:3 And rather than feeling elated like I thought I would, I just feel more of a tired sense of relief;P Now I get a whole week without deadlinesXD And as a reward, tomorrow I'm going to go to the mall before work and see if I can buy the MonoKuroBoo slippers I've been thinking about for weeks now;P It's cold out, and they're super cute<3 I really want these ones <3<3<3 but I don't know if the store will have them cause they're new...*crosses fingers*>_< Other than that, I'm worried that I didn't do well on my linguistics test even though I studied all weekend:S But, I have to keep telling myself it's not the end of the world, there's always a chance to redeem myself...

Let me preface this post with one thing: I'm starving right nowXD I just spent the last half hour trying my darndest to think of a way to magically conjure tamagyuudon (egg and beef concotion on rice, like the oyakodon Aiba once made *edit* I just realized I have a picture of it!XD) or kitsune udon (udon noodles with a thin piece of fried tofu and stips of seaweed), and many other delicious things I ate in Japan and have been craving ever since>_< Someone discover wormholes so I can zip over to the Ramputei (gyuudon chain restaurant) near my hotel in Shinjuku!XD Here's the tamagyuudon from Ramputei....mmm, so good, and only 480yen, you just can't get good food that cheap here;P



Ah~, so hungry...and I ended up ordering dimsum from the place down the street because my brain is now completely occupied by my stomach;P
On a side note, I got back the paper I was worried about and I got an A+:D I was so happy I danced around my living room a bit, coincidentally Fight Song came on at the same time and I tried to pretend I had my own bungee...;P Well, that was embarrassing to admitXD But, I was right to do my 1 year celebration last week cause this week I have another paper, and assignment, and a math test...no time for anything big:S But it is still offically my 1 year now, yay me:3 Thank you to all who were kind enough to celebrate it with me, kotoshi mo yoroshiku neX3

I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to have anything to offer this week, I was in Edmonton for a work conference from 5am Wednesday to 6pm Friday and though I had fully planned on getting lots of studying done during that time...yeah, I got stuck on a math problem for a couple hours and spent the rest of the time hanging out with my co-workersXDD And since I have a math test on Wednesday and a paper due tomorrow I was freaking out quite a bit, but thank goodness I got both Saturday and Sunday off from work, I was able to spend all Friday eve. and Saturday playing catch up^^; Which left today free to translate:)
That was my first time in Edmonton as an adult, and while I love flying and seeing new places it wasn't the most interesting city^^; But...I did ride a rollercoaster!XD This is West Edmonton Mall the second largest mall in the world, and it has the world's biggest triple-loop indoor rollercoaster;) It's called the Mindbender, and boy does it ever live up to its nameXD I was kind of wanting to try a slightly milder rollercoaster for my first ride of my life, but a co-worker suggested it and...I just had to try it;P The first stretch wasn't bad, but when we got to the top (which is apparently as high as the Statue of Liberty, although it really didn't look like itO_o) I seriously wondered how crazy I must have been to say yesXDD But oh man was it fun~X3 I cna understand why Jun likes them so much, I had a blast:3 Although, my glasses fell off at some point and I managed to grab them before we went upside down again, or else I would be effectively blind right nowO_o And going through the loops really hurt my neck, I must have a weak spine or something^^; But what an experience!X3 Ah~, next time I'd like to try that with a certain someone~<3
Other than that, boring meetings, one of the crappiest 4-star hotels I've ever been to, and very very little sleep is all the impression I have of the whole trip...glad to be back;P And I heard about Arashi's new show...but I like MMA!>_< It's cute and different every week, and Jun was just starting to appear more often...and easier to translate;P Oh well, let's see what they have in store for us this time ne:)

Hello Minna, I don't know about where you are but here's pretty darn cold alreadyXD Like, 2 degrees celsius^^; My poor little toes~XD It's funny because today I was listening to the JunStyle from August 4th and a girl who wrote in talked about how it felt like her summer was already over without even having started, and I feel kind of the same...my 3 weeks in Japan was my summer, and right after coming back fall blew right in. But, what can you do right? Good thing I like fall:3
I know I said I was going to do current episodes, and I still plan on it, but I had an unusual number of requests for the Shukudai-kun from 07.05.07 with Megumi(#31)^^; So, since majority rules in this world, I have that to share today^^

Oh boy, the countdown's really on now, I leave on Friday!XD It seems really weird to think that this time next week I'll be in Tokyo:D It's going to be my first overseas trip in 10 years, so that's why it's a little bit more of a big deal for me than maybe it could be;P People at my work keep asking me if I'm packed yet, and I'm thinking 'do I really need to be packed already?O_o' I mean, my apartment's small so I cna't lay everything out, and if I packed now I'd end up un-packing and re-packing before I leave anyway...^^;
